Litchfield
Litchfield is a small Route 66 city of about 6,600 people in Montgomery County, roughly 50 miles south of Springfield. The Thirsty Raccoon Saloon, at 3279 Honey Bend Ave, is the city's dedicated music venue, booking live bands for afternoon sets. The Litchfield Park District also runs a Summer Concert Series, drawing acts that play country and rock. Live music here runs on the smaller and more casual side, with the Thirsty Raccoon serving as the main spot for local and regional bands.
