Morton
Morton's live-music options span a proper seated arts venue, an outdoor winery stage, and a bar on Main Street. The anchor is the Bertha Frank Performing Arts Center, a 464-seat auditorium attached to Morton High School that serves local and traveling artists alongside school and park-district programming. Equipped with audio and lighting technology, it hosts bands, choirs, orchestras, and drama productions. A short drive from town, Mackinaw Valley Vineyard runs a well-attended outdoor concert series. Live music plays on Saturdays June through September at 7 pm, with local classic rock groups and some country acts. Attendees bring folding chairs or blankets for lawn seating or reserve a spot on the deck. The vineyard also holds three annual festivals, including an International Wine, Craft Beer and Music Festival on Memorial Day weekend and a Grape Stomp and Harvest Festival on Labor Day weekend. Office on Main rounds out the local bar-and-live-music side of Morton's scene.
