Baby J (born Yonas Kahassai) is a Chicago-based reggae singer from Eritrea, fronting the Golden Street Reggae Band since the mid-1990s, blending roots, dancehall, and lovers rock. The group won Best Reggae Entertainer of the Year in 2021 and 2022.
