Chicago Philharmonic is a classical orchestra founded in 1989 by musicians of the Lyric Opera Orchestra, based in Chicago, IL. Led by Artistic Director Scott Speck, it draws from nearly 200 musician members and has been named 'Orchestra of the Year' by the Illinois Council of Orchestras.
