He has played all over the world with John Primer, Eddy Clearwater, Byther Smith, and James Cotton. The Shuffle Kings are the hardest working band in the blues!!! Tom Holland & the Shuffle Kings have been garnering praise all over theworld for the last 19 years. They play regularly in and around the Chicago area, as well as clubs and festivals all over the world. The Band Mike Scharf - Bass Mike has been playing bass for over 30 years, bringing a wealth of knowledge and feel for the blues that form the bed rock of the Shuffle Kings Sound. He has played all over the world with various bands before joining the Shuffle Kings. He's toured and recorded with many artists, including Dave Weld, Lefty Dizz, Lilttle Mike & the Tornadoes, Dave Specter, and Lil' Ed. Tino Cortes - Drums Tino is a well seasoned veteran of the Chicago Blues scene, playing drums witha virtual who's who of Chicago blues over the last 30 years. He's toured and recorded with Jimmy Walker, Yank Rachell, Aaron Burton, Bill Lupkin, and Byther Smith. Big D - Harp Big D rounds out the band with powerful blues harp reminiscent of harp masters James Cotton, Sonny Boy Williamson II, and Little and Big Walter. D was featured on the Severn Records compilation, the Chicago Blues Harmonica Project, as well as the Delmark Records 55th Anniversary DVD.
