Grupo Niche is a salsa group founded in 1978 in Bogotá, Colombia. It enjoyed great popularity throughout Latin America. It was founded by Jairo Varela and Alexis Lozano. Alexis Lozano, trombone player and arranger later left to form Orquesta Guayacán.
