Customer Service, Dulce, The Simsons

Customer Service is the name for at least three music projects: 1. The stage name of Christopher Pennington, an experimental electronic producer from Eagleville, Tennessee. He has produced music under this name since mid-2014. His syncretic music spans a wide range of genres, including drone, dark ambient, vaporwave and musique concrete. Numerous singles have been released, as well as two albums: A FOCUS ON SATISFACTION(2014, Dream Catalogue - DREAM_69) Drone I(2014, self-released) 2. A hip-hop group from Leimert Park, Los Angeles, that originally consisted of Nocando, Y-Not, and A-ok of Weird People, fellow Project Blowedians Kail and Joe Sue later joined the group. In 2009 SP83, Psychosiz, and Choice Reason joined the group. Customer Service released their debut album, Please Hold, in 2005. In 2009, Nocando, A-OK, Psychosiz, Kail, SP83, and Joe Sue and reunited to release the Free Y-Not EP, the title references the fact that Y-Not is in prison, thus his absence from the album. 3. An up-and-coming self-described "rock'n'rawr" band from Halifax, Nova Scotia. The guitar-driven quartet's music oscillates between hard-charging melodic punk and more introspective emo stylings. They recently embarked on a tour of Eastern Canada, featuring stops in the Maritimes as well as a leg through Ontario featuring a gig at the legendary Horseshoe Tavern in support of The Wilderness.

Dulce may refer to one of two artists: (1) A Mexican singer and actress, born Bertha Elisa Noeggerath Cárdenas (2) A Filipina singer and actress, born Maria Teresa Magdalena Abellare Llamedo. (1) Bertha Elisa Noeggerath Cárdenas —más conocida por Dulce — es una cantante y actriz mexicana. Nació en Matamoros, Tamaulipas, el 29 de julio de 1955. Inició su carrera en 1974 y comenzó a ser conocida a nivel internacional a principios de la década de 1980 con su nombre artístico. (2) Maria Teresa Magdalena Abellare Llamedo, better known by the stage name Dulce, was born on July 22, 1961, near Cebu City, Philippines. Llamedo competed in several singing competitions as a teenager. She got her big break when composer George Canseco came across her singing at a Manila club while searching for a singer for the theme song for the 1978 film Miss Dulce Amor, Ina. Llamedo thereafter became known as Dulce. In 1979, Dulce recorded her most famous song "Ako Ang Nasawi, Ako ang Nagwagi" ("I Had Been Defeated, I Had Won"). She performed the song at that year's Asian Singing Competition (Hong Kong) and won the grand prize. In 2003, Dulce received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Philippines' Aliw Awards, which celebrate entertainers.

The Simpsons is an American animated television sitcom created by Matt Groening that has aired on the Fox Broadcasting Company since December 1989. It is a satirical parody of a middle class American lifestyle epitomized by its eponymous family, which consists of Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie. The show is set in the fictional town of Springfield, and lampoons American culture, society, and many aspects of the human condition. The popularity of The Simpsons led to the release of the 1990 double platinum album The Simpsons Sing the Blues, which contains original songs performed by the cast members of the show as their characters. The album spawned two hit singles—"Do the Bartman" and "Deep, Deep Trouble". A less successful sequel, The Yellow Album, was released in 1998. Three soundtrack albums featuring music and songs from the show have been released—Songs in the Key of Springfield in 1997, Go Simpsonic with The Simpsons in 1999, and The Simpsons: Testify in 2007. The first two charted on the US Billboard 200, reaching number 103 and 197, respectively. The Simpsons Movie: The Music, a soundtrack album featuring the score of The Simpsons Movie, was released along with the feature-length film in July 2007. The choral piece "Spider Pig" that appeared in the film and on the soundtrack entered the charts in several countries around the world.
