The rapper turned heads in 2020 with his debut album Velma, a revealing and relatable album--listening feels like catching up with an old friend about his life. Since Velma, My Favorite Color has released a series of singles and videos that show off his technical rhyming chops, keen sense of visuals, and absurdist sense of humor, skills which helped him earn the coveted Best New Artist distinction from Pigeons & Planes. Most recently, My Favorite Color dropped “car pack,” an auto-themed double single that tells two sides of a story.
