Because of the "grungy" riffs and the raw vocals that sound vaguely similar to Kurt Cobain and/or Courtney Love, many casual listeners thought, and still think, that 'Cocaine Girl' is a lost, rare, or unreleased song from Nirvana, so the misinformation still persists despite a vast amount of evidence to the contrary.
