José Álvaro Osorio Balvín, known professionally as J Balvin, is a Colombian singer. He is one of the best-selling Latin artists, with 35 million records sold worldwide. Balvin was born in Medellín. At age 17, he moved to the United States to learn English, living in both Oklahoma and New York. He then returned to Medellín and gained popularity performing at clubs in the city.

William Omar Landrón Rivera, known professionally as Don Omar, is a Puerto Rican rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, and actor. Dubbed the "King of Reggaeton" by music critics and fans alike, he has also been recognized by Billboard and Rolling Stone as a reggaeton legend. He is often cited as an influence by other Hispanic urban performers.

Los Tucanes De Tijuana are a Mexican norteño band led by Mario Quintero Lara. The band was founded in Tijuana, Baja California in 1987. They, along with Los Tigres del Norte, were pioneers in playing their music in a rougher manner as opposed to the traditional norteño music of northeastern Mexico, subsequently influencing many other norteño artists from Mexico’s pacific states and giving that region of the country its signature norteño sound. During their career, Los Tucanes de Tijuana have garnered several awards and recognitions, including a Latin Grammy in 2012 for the album 365 Días, five Grammy Award nominations, nine Lo Nuestro Awards nominations and multiple BMI Awards for Quintero as a composer. They are the first norteño music band to obtain an international film award by winning the Un Certain Regard Angel Film award at the Monaco International Film Festival for their participation in the documentary Los ilegales. In 2008, the group received a star on the Las Vegas Walk of Fame.

(Tribal Monterrey) is a trio from Monterrey, Mexico. They consist of Erick Rincon, Sheeqo Beat and DJ Otto. Their style of music is generally referred to as tribal guarachero, which is prevalent in Mexico City and Monterrey. The name tribal guarachero references a Cuban rhythm called guaracha. Colombia's musical style of cumbia also plays an influence in tribal guarachero. The music is marked by its distinctive triplet rhythm, which gives the music an unusual and deceptively slow, loping feel, even as the songs hum along over a 4/4 beat at 133 beats per minute. Their album Inténtalo, was released in late 2011.

Known for their skillful wordplay and their comedic double entendres, reggaeton duo Alexis y Fido, affectionately known as "Los Pitbulls," may be old dogs in the genre, but they have plenty of new tricks that will make audiences sit down and beg for more. After wooing reggaeton fans with the smash single El Tiburon, featured on Luny Tunes' Mas Flow 2, the hardworking duo is now set to unleash its debut album The Pitbulls, which is promising to make the world bark to a new tune. "I'm very cerebral; I tend to have a lot of concepts, and Alexis has to let me know whether he thinks they can executed," 26-year-old Joel "Fido" Martinez says of his contribution to the duo's chemistry. "I'm much more reserved than Alexis. He's much more animated." His partner, 26-year-old Raul "Alexis" Ortiz, agrees. "I'm the aggressive one, the one who gets the crowds jumping." Born in Cidra, Puerto Rico, and raised between the towns of Cidra and Cayey, Alexis first made his mark on the reggaeton scene in 1994, when he appeared on DJ Stefano Vol. 2 alongside two neighborhood friends. Although he knew music was his calling, he found himself secluded from the genre's pioneers by virtue of living outside of the metropolitan area, the hub of activity at that time. Frustrated by the hardships of gaining recognition, he decided to retire and spent almost five years away from the studio. Similarly, Cayey native Fido started pursuing his musical ambitions at an early age. "I've been singing since the music was called 'underground,' before it was even named reggaeton," he says. "I started when I was 11 years old. Around the time when Vico C released La Recta Final, I was doing talent shows and performing wherever I could." But like Alexis, Fido was discouraged by the competitive nature of the developing movement and decided to put his career on pause for a few years. That is, until, he saw the streets' growing interest in the musical form. "I started getting back into it when people started selling their own cassette tapes in the streets," he recalls. "We'd record our own tapes at home, wrap them in some plastic and sell them on the street." In 1995, Fido scored an appearance on a DJ Stefano production, followed by a single on DJ Nelson's Little Boys from the Underground 3. But despite the inroads he'd made, Fido felt overwhelmed by the difficulties before him. He once again decided to withdraw from the scene but, this time, he envisioned a different life for himself, enlisting in the Army and executing a four-year stint. NBC on iTunes "I was frustrated again - I felt like we weren't being given the opportunities that we deserved because we weren't from the metropolitan area," Fido says. "Back then, they used to say that Carolina was the reggaeton Mecca." While Fido was in the military, his good friend Yandel (of the duo Wisin y Yandel) linked up with Wisin during an MC competition in Salinas, Puerto Rico. Their newly established partnership proved fruitful, and they quickly began to raise eyebrows among the genre's frontrunners. "I've known Yandel since I was in sixth grade," Fido says. "I was the one who told Yandel he needed to start performing. When I came back from the Army and he had teamed up with Wisin, they decided to help me." Meanwhile, Alexis made his reentry into the genre in the year 2000, appearing in La Mision III with the songs Sigan Perreando and Otra Noche Mas, and in the production Grayskull with the party anthem Manos Arriba. He then appeared in Wisin y Yandel's De Otra Manera and on both Wisin and Yandel's subsequent solo albums. "I was friends with Wisin," Alexis says. "We used to sing around the neighborhood together, and Fido was always with Yande, so we were all part of the same crew. After Wisin y Yandel got together, Fido and I spent even more time with each other." Still, the two continued to pursue their own separate paths. It wasn't until the compilation album Desafio that Alexis y Fido tested out their potential as a duo. "There were 23 tracks recorded already so there was only room for one more track in the production," Alexis says. "One of us was going to be omitted so the producers suggested that we perform together." Their synergy was palpable and so the two continued to perform together, displaying their skills on songs like Gata Racing off of Blin Blin Vol. 1 and El Palo on El Band 2 Korrupto. "El Palo was a real turning point in our careers," Alexis says of the song that thrust them into the limelight in 2003. "That was the song that earned us our respect." Fido agrees wholeheartedly, "El Palo would have been as big as Gasolina, but the album wasn't funded appropriately so it wasn't really promoted overseas, but in Puerto Rico it was the No. 1 song for months." After El Palo's success, the duo was in heavy demand. They recorded such hits as Tocale Bocina on Noriega's Contra La Corriente, El Rolo on La Mision IV and Gata Michu Michu on the top-selling Hector El Bambino Presenta Los Anormales. They quickly became known as "Los Pitbulls" because of Alexis' tendency to bark on his records. He introduced the trademark sound early on in his career at Yandel's prompting. "One time, I went out with my son and Yandel and his son," Alexis says. "When we were on our way home, both kids started getting cranky, and I started making barking noises to make them laugh. Yandel was like, 'How do you do that? You have to put that in your records!' After that, I started using the slogan 'Alexis el Pitbull ladrando' (Alexis the Pitbull barking). " He says that although the "Pitbull" moniker was initially his, Fido more than deserves to share the title. "I'm the one who barks, but Fido is the one who bites," he jokes. After years of performing together and amassing a huge fan in Puerto Rico, the duo unleashed their picaresque song El Tiburon on Luny Tunes' Latin Grammy-nominated album Mas Flow 2, which was released earlier this year. The song established them as international superstars. "People really appreciate our originality," Alexis says. "We have fun concepts and we use la lot of adult humor. The sexual aspect of our lyrics is only evident to adults, and we make sure that we never say anything that could be offensive towards women." For his part, Fido has earned a name for himself as an accomplished beatmaker. He was responsible for the unique rhythmic patterns Wisin y Yandel's En La Disco Bailoteo and Esta Noche Hay Pelea, and he produced the singles Dale Caliente, El Muro and No Me Dejes Solo on Daddy Yankee's multi-platinum-selling Barrio Fino album. "I made those songs from beginning to end," Fido says. "Urba y Monserrate did the mixing on those tracks, but I came up with the rhythms." His production genius is evident in Los Pitbulls through such singles as Eso Ehhh, El Cumbiaton and Tu No Sabes, which he concocted with the help of producer Nesty. "Sonically, this album has a bit of everything," Alexis says. "El Cumbiaton mixes cumbia with mariachi sounds, Perro Caliente uses beatboxing sounds, Tributo Borincano has a dancehall flavor and Tu no Sabes is a softer ballad-style song." The much-anticipated effort features appearances by the likes of Terror Squad's Tony Sunshine, Hector "el Father," Zion y Lennox, Trebol Clan and Baby Ranks and production by heavyweights like Noriega, Nesty, Echo, and Luny Tunes. With such a remarkable pedigree and an insatiable hunger, it's no mystery why Alexis y Fido are known as reggaeton's only pitbulls.

Jorge Álvaro Díaz Conocido como Álvaro Díaz y nacido en la isla de San Juan, Puerto Rico; es un joven publicista y rapero de 29 años de edad. Unió su talento con Jesse Báez y MLKMN en Broke Kids, un colectivo lleno de talento. Algo “duro” e “innovador” son los términos con los que Díaz cataloga su música, sin querer encasillarlo solo en el género Rap. Hasta ahora, Álvaro cuenta con poco más de 20 temas con los cuales han tenido gran aceptación por el público en Puerto Rico, siendo que en este lugar es muy difícil tratar de penetrar en el mercado de la música con este tipo de sonido, ya que lo que más suena en aquellos lugares es el reggaeton. Algo que también llama mucho la atención en el trabajo de este boricua, es su videografía, pues cada uno de sus videoclips tienen la calidad y originalidad que lo hacen distinto al resto de rapeos boricuas, muchos de ellos cuentan con homenajes a películas debido a su pasión por el cine.

Austin Agustín Santos, better known by his stage name Arcángel, is an American rapper and singer. He is often described as one of the most influential artists in the Latin urban genre, as well in Latin music overall, and one of the pioneers of Latin trap music. Around 2002, he became interested in becoming a performer of reggaeton. While living in Puerto Rico, he met fellow singer De la Ghetto, where they eventually formed a popular then-underground reggaeton duo, Arcángel & De la Ghetto.

Alba Farelo i Solé, known professionally as Bad Gyal, is a Spanish singer and songwriter. Bad Gyal has developed a strong cult following ever since her musical career began in 2016, with an interpretation of Rihanna's "Work" in the Catalan language. She continued to make music as an independent artist, releasing records like "Jacaranda" and "Fiebre". Bad Gyal later released two mixtapes: Slow Wine (2016) and Worldwide Angel (2018), which established her as an emerging artist within the Spanish urban scene.

Yuberkis Gabriela Marie de la Rosa Bryan (Puerto Rico, September 18, 2001), known artistically as De la Rose, is a Puerto Rican singer and songwriter. Characterized by her melodic and dynamic voice, she has gained popularity with songs like "¿Qué vas hacer hoy?" and "WYA (remix red)." She began her career in 2019, and years later became a sought-after collaborator in the urban genre. She appeared on hit songs like "Kyoto" and "¿Qué vas hacer hoy?" by Omar Courtz, and has also collaborated with other artists such as Quevedo, De la Ghetto, Luar la L, and Jay Wheeler. In 2023, she signed a record deal with Warner Music Latina.

Fuerza Regida is an American regional Mexican band formed in San Bernardino, California in 2015, initially as a cover band. They were formed by frontman Jesús Ortíz Paz, backing vocalist and 12-string guitarist Samuel Jáimez, rhythm guitarist Khrystian Ramos and sousaphone player José "Pelón" García, with tololoche player Moisés López joining the lineup in 2022. Initially known as a norteño band, they have later incorporated several subgenres onto their music, including corridos tumbados, for which they are one of the pioneer groups.

Manuel Turizo Zapata is a Colombian singer. Born and raised in Montería, he started making music at 13. He first became popular with his song "Una Lady Como Tú" (2016). He made his debut album ADN on August 23, 2019. Turizo's music contains influences from pop music, trap, and vallenato, and his vocal range has been classified as baritone. His most well-known song is his 2022 single "La Bachata".

RØZ is a Mexican DJ and producer duo consisting of Manolo Cabrera and Hugo Lara. They have gained recognition in the electronic music scene with over 30 million streams across digital platforms and more than 1.4 million monthly listeners. RØZ has collaborated with artists such as Tom & Collins , Maye , and Yng Lvcas . The duo has performed at major venues in Mexico City, including sold-out shows at Supremo and Foro Indie Rocks, each with over 1,000 attendees. They have also appeared at international events, such as the Formula 1 Mexican Grand Prix, and at festivals like Tecate Emblema. RØZ has opened for artists including Deadmau5 and John Summit .

Alejandro Ramírez Suárez (born May 23, 1992), better known as Sky Rompiendo (“breaking sky” or “Sky breaking”), Sky Rompiendo el Bajo or just Sky is a Colombian producer, songwriter and DJ. He gained recognition at a young age, creating hits with Latin trap and reggaetón artists such as Anitta, Feid, J Balvin, Karol G, Maluma, Nicky Jam and Ozuna. He has received six Latin Grammy Awards as a producer and songwriter. Ramírez was born on May 23, 1992, in Medellín, Colombia. His interest for music production began at the age of 11, when he saw the digital audio workstation called Fruity Loops being used by one of his friends. In 2011, after studying at Berklee College of Music, Boston, he began to work as a record producer for Colombian artists, producing songs like "Amor de Verano" (“summer love”) by Shako, "Cripy Cripy" (a reference to cannabis) by Yandar & Yostin and "En lo Oscuro" (“in the dark”) by J Balvin. During the production of the latter song, Ramírez developed his artistic name; initially, his nickname was ‘Sky’ after being a part of a record-producing duo named ‘Sky High’, but after hearing the sentence "rompiendo el bajo" in the song with J Balvin, he added it to his nickname. Transforming it into "Sky Rompiendo el Bajo" or "Sky Rompiendo". During 2012 and 2013, at the age of 20-21, he continued to frequently work with J Balvin, such as on the songs "Yo Te Lo Dije" (“I told you”), "Sola" (“alone”) and "6 AM"; these songs would later be a part of Balvin's first studio album, La Familia, released on October 29, 2013. The record peaked at number one in Colombia and at number 10 on the American Billboard Top Latin Albums chart. The album also received a nomination for the Latin Grammy Award for Best Urban Music Album. Sky also worked in the songs "Báilame" (“dance with me”) by Feid and on "Hagan Fila" (“stand in line”) from Yaga & Mackie's sixth album Los Mackieavelikos HD. Sky achieved commercial and international success with J Balvin as one of the featured songwriters and producers of the song "Ginza"; the song spent twenty-one weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart, breaking the record for most weeks spent in that position by a song from a solo act. Since then, Sky has produced all studio albums by J Balvin to date: Energía, Vibras and Colores, plus also participating in Oasis, the collaborative album by Balvin with Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny, all the aforementioned albums have peaked at number one in the Billboard Top Latin Albums, with the exception of Colores that peaked at number two. For his work as a producer, Sky has received several nominations at the Latin Grammy Awards, including four nominations for Album of the Year and two for Record of the Year, he has also won the Latin Grammy for Best Urban Music Album three times and Best Urban Song twice. Sky has also received three nominations for Producer of the Year at the Billboard Latin Music Awards.

Tokischa Altagracia Peralta Juárez, known mononymously as Tokischa, is a Dominican rapper. After working for photographer Raymi Paulus, she was offered to enter the music industry. She signed a recording contract with Paulus Music and released her debut single "Pícala". After her song "Linda" alongside Rosalía was released with great commercial success, she continued collaborating with artists such as J Balvin, Madonna, Anuel AA and Ozuna. Her lyrics mostly refer to sexual activity. Tokischa has often been catalogued as "controversial" by media outlets, with her music sparking controversy and receiving notable media coverage.

Yeri Cruz Varela, known professionally as Yeri Mua, is a Mexican internet celebrity, singer, songwriter, and entrepreneur. She rose to popularity in 2018 for her live streams of makeup and cosmetics on Instagram and Facebook. In 2023, she embarked on a career as a reggaeton singer, notable for singles such as "Chupón" and "Línea del perreo."
