Hailing from Phoenix Arizona, EMBERS RISE intends to leave a massive scar on the modern metal scene. The Brutal 5-piece was established in 2007 by technical guitarist and songwriter Jason Rowe, drawing influences from As I Lay Dying, All That Remains and many others. Soon after the group’s creation, Paul Guidry joined--bringing with him a drumming precision and intensity of heightend levels. After hearing early EMBERS RISE demos, Stu auditioned for the band and quickly achieved the spot of lead guitarist. Stu raises the bar when it comes to shredding solos and face melting riffs. A few failed bassists later, Drue Smith answered the online ad, joined, and pounds chests with the low end and death/thrash backing vocals. Formed in 2007, Chicago based band Nothing Forgotten is a well oiled machine, driven by five individuals who insist on letting their music and performance do the talking. Delivering an experience for their audience and a journey for the listeners, there is no question as to how or why they decided on their band name. Coming from all different aspects of music, Jason Valy (guitars and vocals), Miah Friese (drums and percussion), Eric Rommel (guitars and keyboards), Jameel Lawson (vocals) and Jeremy Muzika (bass) take their musical influences ranging from r&b, rock , metal, classical, jazz, funk, and so on… to create a fuel to run this machine. With their first 3 song EP, recorded at Uptown Recording with Producer Rob Ruccia, they definitely show their musicianship, passion, and dedication to Nothing Forgotten.
