BEGININGs: Alexandru Ciorogar(bass) and Jimmi Popa (guitar) have been playing together since they were 13. Their first band was called Faktura. The two of them played jazz, blues and, in the year 2003 they started a band which mixed their favourite music genres: hardcore,metal,funk and jazz. The band underwent some changes - in the fall of 2005 Vlad Codorean(drums) joins, thus the core group is established. November 2006, with the coming of Mihai Sarlea(vocals), the final formula was established and the band recorded their first Demo album called "Stand Up!".
CONCERTS AND FESTIVALS: ROCKHOUSE played at TopT festival (Buzau, May 2007), Urban Fest (Cluj-Napoca, June 2007), Aici Semenic (Semenic Mountain, July 2007), Puzzle Fest (Bucharest, July 2007), FanFest (Rosia Montana, August 2007), Memoriam Fest (Alba Iulia 2007 and 2008), Student Fest (Timisoara, May 2008), StufStock 6 (Vama Veche, August 2008), MIAU Nights (Cluj-Napoca, October 2008) and many others, having the opportunity to play alongside bands like Luna Amara, Vita de VIe, Subscribe, Bio, Godmode, Coma, TargeT, Omu cu sobolani, Truda, Mauser, Proconsul, The Mushroom Story, Antidot, Dute Vino, Implant Pentru Refuz, Blazzaj and many many others.
NATIONAL DEBUT: ROCKHOUSE's first national appearance was in SUNETE Magazine and CD(in 2007), entering the Manifest Yourself contest, with the song called "Stand Up!".
PRIZES: ROCKHOUSE has won two III-rd prizes at "Aici Semenic" festival and rock festival Ziua Dintai(Alba Iulia) and also the special award for the best bass player in both of the festivals (Alexandru Ciorogar).
MESSAGE: The songs instigate to an active thinking process, stressing upon comprehension of external stimuli, the way they bias everyday life and, ultimately, the need to avoid prefabricated thoughts and ideals.
