Garrettsville

Garrettsville's live-music identity is almost entirely shaped by one place: Nelson Ledges Quarry Park, a private 250-acre spring-fed quarry, campground, and music festival venue on State Route 282. The park runs ten or more festivals every summer and has been doing so since 1972. Named recurring events include Sunny Days, Badfish (held in spring and fall), Classic Fest, Grateful Fest, Summerdance, and Grassfire, among others. The park draws a wide range of genres, with past performers including Keller Williams, Andy Frasco & The U.N., and The Palmer Squares. Upcoming 2026 events also include a Summerdance hosted by Lotus and Gratefulfest. The festival model is camping-centered: the grounds hold over 850 campsites and welcome more than ten festivals each summer. Outside the park, Garrettsville has a small-town footprint with no other dedicated music venues on site.
