Dawn to Dusk was born from a vague idea of 8 year old kids from Matosinhos (Oporto) that wanted to form a band. Due to complications brought on by the entrance and exit of members the band was left with only two elements: Ricardo Goncalves and Igor Silva. Futher on Telmo Fernandes entered the band and the first original songs appeared, from wich opportunity of Chemistry and Getting Distracted still exist. The year of 2004 could be considered as the year of the real formation of Dawn to Dusk's band thanks to the entrance of Amaro Machado and Tiago Fonseca. Cool Grunge and Like You (...) are the originals that represent the evolution and grow of the band in this period. Rock, Punk, Pop and Grunge are the type of rythms more influent to the band, having the exception of saxophone and guitar melodies that result in softer and harmonious sounds. Recently the band can count on the voice of Filipe Pinto who assumed the main voice of d2d. In the present day Dawn to Dusk are: Filipe Pinto (voice and guitar), Telmo Fernandes (guitar), Igor Silva (guitar, vocals and keys), Amaro Machado (drums) and Tiago Fonseca (bass guitar).
