Hamilton
Hamilton, Indiana is a small town of about 1.66 square miles with a low population density, roughly 33 miles from Fort Wayne. Its live-music scene runs through a single address: lakefront Howie's on Hamilton. Opened in the fall of 2021, it is a spacious bar and restaurant on the southeast corner of Hamilton Lake, also known as the Mill Pond. Live music runs almost every Friday and Saturday, with acts moving outside to the deck when weather allows, and shows occasionally extending Thursday through Sunday. An outdoor tiki bar on a deck overlooks the lake, and dock spaces let boaters pull in directly. Beyond the regular weekend sets, the venue also hosts Dinner Pairing Series, Tiki Takeovers, and a Polar Bear Plunge Viewing Party on New Year's Eve. Shows are free, with no cover charge.
