Rome City

Sylvan Cellars Event Center is Rome City's dedicated live music venue, operating a full kitchen and craft cocktail bar seven days a week. The building has a striking backstory: the barn was listed as one of the top 10 most endangered historical landmarks in Indiana before the community rallied to restore it. The finished space features 30-foot high gabled ceilings, chandeliers, and original salvaged wood floors; it opened as an event center in Spring 2015 and added the Tasting Room in January 2016. The room hosts concerts, comedy nights, tastings, and seasonal community events, and a flexible floor plan and clear sightlines keep every seat close to the stage. For a small lake-country town, Sylvan Cellars functions as Rome City's primary cultural anchor, drawing regional acts and ticket-holding crowds from across northern Indiana.
