LSD and the Search for God is an American shoegaze band formed in San Francisco, California in 2005. When they hit the Northern California coast--seemingly from another space and time--they dosed San Francisco’s underground psychedelic music community with hypnotic live shows built upon swirling guitars, otherworldly drones, fuzzed-out pop hooks, and youthfully flirtatious male/female vocals. After one of their first gigs (with Australia's The Morning After Girls), LSD was asked by Kurt Heasley to play with Lilys. Shortly after, they were invited on two separate West Coast tours: first with Spectrum (featuring Sonic Boom of Spacemen 3) and then with The Telescopes (on their first-ever U.S. tour). In 2007 LSD's self-titled debut EP (Mind Expansion) sold out from the record label and distributor before the official release date. It was subsequently picked up and reissued on vinyl (Deep Space Recordings, 2008). Around this time, LSD was also featured on three compilations: Mind Expansion Vol. 1, M.E. Vol. 2, and "Take Me on the Wildest Spree," a “nugazer” compilation released by Australia's Rubber Records (a division of EMI). The momentum from their early shows and sold-out EP paved the way for a busy three three years of West Coast shows, a U.S. tour, and a handful of festival dates as LSD shared the bill with the likes of Dead Meadow, Martin Rev (of Suicide), and DJs Anton Newcombe (Brian Jonestown Massacre), Nick Jago (Black Rebel Motorcycle Club), and Colm O'Coissoig (My Bloody Valentine). In the early hours of December 21, 2010, LSD were bio-holographically informed that humanity was exactly two years away from a near-spontaneous metamorphosis into a more highly evolved state of consciousness. To prepare, LSD went underground the very next day to explore new sonic frontiers while committing to a two-year vow of virtual silence by ending all non-essential communication. Kylesa is an American sludge metal band that was formed in Savannah, Georgia. Their music incorporates experimentalism with heavy riffs, drop-tuned guitars and elements of psychedelic rock. The group was established in 2001 by the former members of Damad, with the addition of guitar player Laura Pleasants who is from North Carolina.

El Ten Eleven is an American post-rock duo based out of Los Angeles, California. They are known for combining guitar/bass doubleneck or fretless bass, with heavy looping, or vamping, and the use of an effects pedal, over acoustic or electric drumming. They have released twelve full-length albums, 2 EPs and a remix album, earning generally positive reviews.

Austin TV is a mexican independent five piece band located in Mexico City, formed in 2001 they bet for the instrumental sound with influences like Mogwai, Yo La Tengo, many of the second wave Post-Emo Indie Rock bands like Mineral and The Get Up Kids and Post-Hardcore such as At The Drive-In and Hot Water Music Also, their live shows are composed by theater-like costumes, adding a feeling of magic and amusement to their music, some of their costumes have been bunnies, astronauts, baseball players, clowns, hawaiian tourists, ice cream truck drivers and many more. Their discography is composed by Asrael, a limited edition CD with the first materials they recorded in studio and live performances in Mexican College Radio "Ibero 90.9"; in 2002, they released "Austin TV", an EP composed by five songs, and the 2003 album "La Última Noche del Mundo" (The Last Night of The World), this album is acclaimed by their fans and critics, the singles "Rucci" and "Olvidé decir Adiós" had heavy rotation in the mexican radio stations "Reactor 105" and "Ibero 90.9" Recently they recorded the score for the Independent Film "Más que nada en el mundo" (More Than anything in the World), in may 5th 2007, they released "Fontana Bella", their new album, recorded in their own Studio "Asrael" and "El Ensayo", a studio owned by the members of Café Tacvba. Fontana Bella tells the story of Mario Lupo, an old men living in the forest and having supernatural expiriences with forest spirits about close friends and other things. Rolo Tomassi is a British experimental mathcore band from Stocksbridge, Sheffield. Formed in 2005, they set their local scene alight by playing a synth-driven technical mix of styles and genres difficult to define in a single word. The band's name was taken from the movie L.A. Confidential. They are known for their strong DIY ethic and chaotic live performances. The band is currently signed to MNRK Heavy. They released two albums on Hassle Records: Hysterics (2008) and the Diplo-produced Cosmology (2010). After creating their own record label called Destination Moon in 2011, they released Eternal Youth, a compilation album of B-sides, remixes, and rarities from throughout their career, and their third album, 21012’s Astraea, with the first line-up change in their career. They then released two albums on Holy Roar records: Grievances (2015) and Time Will Die and Love Will Bury It (2018). Their music has been difficult to classify simply because of the band's resistance to being identified with one single genre. Described as "like a polished chrome King Crimson for the 21st Century" they have typically been acknowledged as being mathcore, a tag which summarises the theoretical complexity of their music, such as odd time signatures like 9/8 and 13/8 and polyrhythmic drumming. They have been identified as "falling somewhere between grindcore, progressive and alternative rock and have been categorised as experimental rock, post-metal, post-hardcore, progressive hardcore, progressive rock and screamo. The band utilises two vocalists in their music, a quality which "immediately creates a rich and textured sonic world". Eva Spence's vocal style was acknowledged by Michael Wilson of the BBC as bi-polar; swapping between "fragile lullabies to blood-curdling scowls". Her singing voice is in a soprano vocal range and has been compared to the stylings of Alison Goldfrapp of Goldfrapp and Elizabeth Fraser of the Cocteau Twins. Their earlier work—such as Hysterics, Cosmology and their demos and extended plays—was known for its use of jazz breakdowns and swapping chaotically between explosive mathcore, calm atmospheric experimental music and acid jazz. Their music is also noted for sharing traits with Nintendocore in terms of chaos and sound for the use of 8-bit synthesizers. The compilation album Eternal Youth gave insight into their musical development from their 2005 demos to their latest b-side releases with Hassle records. The band’s sound developed further into pop, ambient, shoegaze and space rock elements for their third album Astraea, and has been jokingly dubbed as cosmic-core. For one of the b-sides from the album—“Mezmerizer”—NME journalist Hamish MacBain classed it as a "space rock ballad". For the album, the band decided to base its name on the goddess of the same name, a reference to the Spence siblings’ admiration for Greek mythology and a desire to pick a title which made the album "sound big and like this proper body of work". The non-album single "Old Mystics" and the song from the album "The Scales of Balance" both make reference to the "Golden Age" declared by Astraea. In contrast to the lighter tone developed on Astraea, their fourth album—Grievances—is frenetic and dark in its composition, utilising pianos and violins for a darker character. Their fifth album, Time Will Die and Love Will Bury It— as described by James Spence—“continues in the vein of Grievances' darkness, but shouldn't be used to judge what all our new material sounds like." The band's sixth album, Where Myth Becomes Memory, was released on 04 February 2022. Lyrically, it deals with "how the passage of time, miles on the road, bittersweet nostalgia and the inherent unreliability of human memory shape and reshape our experience of the art we make and the lives we live." Sonically, the music continues to "magnify the dynamic interplay between light and shade", moving from chaos to tranquility at the drop of a hat. The Appleseed Cast is an American emo band from Lawrence, Kansas. It was founded in the early days of emo by singer-guitarist Christopher Crisci and drummer Louie Ruiz. The band has steadily evolved over the release of eight full-length albums, with Crisci serving as the main songwriter. It has a frequently rotating lineup, with Crisci being the only consistent member since the band's conception. Currently, the lineup includes Christopher Crisci, Ben Kimball, Nick Fredrickson and Sean Bergman.

Junius is an American rock band from Boston, Massachusetts, United States that formed in 2003. The band is composed of lead vocalist and guitarist Joseph E. Martinez, guitarist Michael Repasch-Nieves, bassist Joel Munguia and drummer Dana Filloon. The band's name is taken after Junius, the pseudonym of a political writer who lived during the late 18th century. Junius's first releases were two EPs on Radar Recordings, Forcing Out the Silence and Blood is Bright. In 2007, they reissued the EPs on a single self-titled CD. This album was also released on Radar Recordings. Their first full-length, The Martyrdom of a Catastrophist, was released on November 10, 2009 through the label The Mylene Sheath in the United States and Make My Day Records in Europe. The album is inspired by the writings of theorist Immanuel Velikovsky and took the group nearly three years to complete. On May 20, 2011, it was announced that Junius would be covering the song Firehead by HUM. The song was included in the cover album Songs of Farewell and Departure: A Tribute to HUM, which was released on September 6, 2011. Junius released a split EP with the band Rosetta which contained the track A Dark Day With Night on September 27, 2011. On October 25, 2011, Junius released their second full-length titled Reports from the Threshold of Death. It was released and distributed via Prosthetic Records. A spring 2012 tour through the United Kingdom, Scandinavia, and Europe in support of the bands sophomore release is currently in the works, while a month long United States tour beginning on February 2012 has already been confirmed. In an interview with Blistering, the band stated that the follow-up to Reports from the Threshold of Death is currently in its "conceptual stages", and that they wish to continue to tour throughout 2012. The band released their first music video for the track All Shall Float which debuted on Alternative Press on February 4, 2012.
