Iron Maiden are an English heavy metal band formed in Leyton, East London, in 1975 by bassist and primary songwriter Steve Harris. Pantera is an American heavy metal band formed in Arlington, Texas, in 1981 by the Abbott brothers, and currently composed of vocalist Phil Anselmo, bassist Rex Brown, and touring musicians Zakk Wylde and Charlie Benante. The group's best-known lineup consisted of the Abbott brothers along with Brown and Anselmo, who joined in 1982 and 1986, respectively. The band is credited for developing and popularizing the subgenre of groove metal in the 1990s. Regarded as one of the most successful and influential bands in heavy metal history, Pantera has sold around 20 million records worldwide and has received four Grammy nominations.

Glenn Allen Anzalone, better known by his stage name Glenn Danzig, is an American singer, songwriter, musician, actor, film director and record producer. He is the founder of the rock bands Misfits, Samhain, and Danzig. He owns the Evilive record label as well as Verotik, an adult-oriented comic book publishing company.

Rise Against is an American punk rock band from Chicago, formed in 1999. The group's current line-up comprises vocalist/rhythm guitarist Tim McIlrath, lead guitarist Zach Blair, bassist Joe Principe and drummer Brandon Barnes. Rise Against's music emphasizes melody, catchy hooks, an aggressive sound and playstyle, and rapid tempos. Lyrically, the band is known for their social commentary, covering a wide range of topics such as politics, animal rights, humanitarianism, and environmentalism.

Alice Cooper is an American singer and songwriter. With a career spanning over six decades, he is known for his raspy singing voice and theatrical stage shows that feature numerous props and illusions. Cooper is considered by music journalists and peers to be "The Godfather of Shock Rock". He has drawn from horror films, vaudeville, and garage rock to pioneer a macabre and theatrical brand of rock designed to shock audiences.

Sabaton is a Swedish power metal band from Falun, formed in 1999 by vocalist Joakim Brodén, bassist Pär Sundström, guitarists Oskar Montelius and Rikard Sundén, and drummer Richard Larsson. The band has experienced multiple lineup changes, with Brodén and Sundström remaining as the only consistent members. Most of their songs focus on historical events, particularly wars and notable battles. After recording early material at Peter Tägtgren’s studio, The Abyss, the band released the promo CD "Fist for Fight" through Underground Symphony. Their intended debut album "Metalizer" was recorded in 2002 but not initially released. Sabaton later signed with Black Lodge Records and released their debut studio album "Primo Victoria" in 2005, followed by "Attero Dominatus" in 2006. "Metalizer" was officially released in 2007 alongside "Fist for Fight", including the previously unreleased track "Birds of War". Michigan’s upper peninsula is trapped under what seems like permafrost for most of the year. This chilling effect makes the landmass more comfortable with stationary lives rather than lives spent outside its natural sprawl. Hot Mulligan may have been born in this green giant, but they escaped its clutches shortly after high school to beat pavement and their own neuroses-at the same time. Since 2014, the five-piece has gained ground for their earnest approach to songwriting, melding together the ferocious riffs of pop punk’s latest wave with the tenacious vulnerability of indie rock. The marriage is one shared by many bands, but on Opportunities - their latest EP earning a re-release via No Sleep Records - the courtship entangles itself in new territories, mostly in those characterized by cavernous percussion, hooks so buoyant they bob up and down, and guitar and synth interplay that belong to a much older, bolder band. Anthrax is an American heavy metal band from New York City, formed in 1981 by rhythm guitarist Scott Ian and bassist Dan Lilker. The group is considered one of the leaders of the thrash metal scene from the 1980s and is part of the "Big Four" of the genre, along with Metallica, Megadeth and Slayer. They were also one of the first thrash metal bands to emerge from the East Coast. The band's current lineup consists of Scott Ian, drummer Charlie Benante, bassist Frank Bello, vocalist Joey Belladonna and lead guitarist Jonathan Donais. Anthrax's lineup has changed numerous times over their career, leaving Ian as the only constant member of the band. Ian and Benante are the only two members to appear on all of Anthrax's albums, while Bello has been a member of Anthrax since 1984, replacing Lilker.

Skillet is an American Christian rock band formed in Memphis, Tennessee, in 1996 by vocalist John Cooper and guitarist Ken Steorts. The current lineup consists of: John Cooper (lead vocals, bass and acoustic guitar), Korey Cooper (keyboards, synthesizer, rythm guitar and backing vocals), Jen Ledger (drums and backing vocals) and Seth Morrison (lead guitar). History Foundation and first years Skillet formed in 1996 with two members: John Cooper, former vocalist for Tennessee progressive rock band Seraph, and Ken Steorts, former guitarist for Urgent Cry. The two bands met through touring together, but those bands disbanded soon after, so John and Ken's pastor encouraged them to form their own band as a side-project. Coming from different styles of rock music, they decided to name the experiment Skillet. After Trey McClurkin joined the band as a permanent drummer. Skillet was only together for a month when they received interest from major Christian record label ForeFront Records. In 1996 they released a self-titled debut Skillet. It was well-received, and the trio continued to write new material as they toured the United States. One topic that comes up often among fans and the band itself, is the name 'Skillet'. John Cooper, the lead vocalist, explains that it was a joke at first. Each starting band member was already in a separate band, and all decided to start a side project. Since each other band had a different sound and style to it, the side project was said to be like putting all of those styles in a big skillet to come up with something unique. Hence the band name 'Skillet'. The band name is still somewhat of a joke between the band members, especially Cooper, who claims to still not like the title. Skillet recorded their follow-up album throughout 1997, titled Hey You, I Love Your Soul, which was released in April 1998. Their second effort was a change in style from the band's first release. With this release, Skillet would abandon their post-grunge approach for a lighter alternative rock. His wife Korey was enlisted soon after to play keyboards live in order to alleviate John's live performance duties. Invincible, Ardent Worship, and Alien Youth (2000–02) Shortly before the band began recording for their third album, Invincible, Steorts left the band to be with his family, and Kevin Haaland joined the band as their new guitarist. Korey Cooper joined the band permanently and played keyboards for the recording of Invincible. Because of this change, the musical style on Invincible changed to a more electronic sound. Soon after the release of Invincible in early 2000, Trey McClurkin parted ways with Skillet, and Lori Peters filled the drummer's position. Invincible would be Skillet's best selling record to date. The band released their first worship album, and fourth album overall, Ardent Worship in Fall 2000. The band kept much of their sound from Invincible on their next album Alien Youth. With little time between touring and recording, Skillet released Alien Youth on August 28, 2001, which was the first album that John Cooper took on production duties. Before the release of Alien Youth, Haaland left the band, and Ben Kasica took over on guitar. The first single, the title track, was a major hit in the Christian market and drove Skillet into their first headlining shows. Collide (2003–05) In 2003, Collide was released by Ardent Records. It caught the attention of Andy Karp, the Head of A&R of Lava Records, and in 2004 the rights to Collide were bought by Lava Records, a division of Atlantic Records. On May 25, 2004, the album was re-released under Lava Records, with an added track, Open Wounds. Collide was yet another musical shift for the band. Citing Linkin Park and P.O.D. as inspiration for the musical shift on Collide, Cooper said, "Well I’m one of these song writers, everything I hear goes through my John Cooper filter of what I like and what I don’t like. [...] All these things [...] have been an influence on me.' Comatose (2006–08) Skillet's album Comatose was released on October 3, 2006. It features the singles Rebirthing, Whispers in the Dark, Comatose, The Older I Get, Those Nights and The Last Night. The album debuted at #55 on the Billboard 200 and #4 on the US Top Christian Albums chart. In January 2008, Skillet announced that their drummer, Lori Peters, was retiring from the band, feeling that "it's time for her to come off of the road and start a new chapter in her life." Peters' last concert with Skillet was on December 31, 2007. However, during the 2007 Christmas season, she took the time to train Skillet's next drummer, Jen Ledger. On October 21, 2008, Comatose Comes Alive was released; a CD/DVD combo featuring live recordings of the band's May 9, 2008 concert in Chattanooga, Tennessee. It was shown on the Gospel Music Channel on December 5, 2008 and it also had a B-side with Live Free or Let Me Die as a single, also with five acoustic tracks which purchasers could download by putting the Comatose Comes Alive CD in their computer. The Comatose album was certified Gold in sales by the RIAA on November 3, 2009. Awake (2009–2011) Skillet announced that they went into the studio January 12 to finalize the new record with Grammy-nominated producer Howard Benson. They added two songs (Hero and Monster) from the new record to their setlist on April 2, 2009 in Evansville, Indiana as part of their Comatose Tour 2009. Awake was released with twelve songs on August 25, 2009. It charted at #2 on the Billboard top 200 selling around 68,000 units in its first week. Monster was released as a single on July 14, 2009. Contrary to popular belief, John Cooper stated that Hero was not the album's lead single. It was, however, released as a single in March 2010.They also released a deluxe version with the extra songs "Dead Inside" and "Would It Matter", along with the original, radio edit of "Monster" that does not have the distorted growl as in the single and in the CD. The song "Hero" was used in the publicizing of the first football game of the 2009 NFL season between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Tennessee Titans, and the song "Monster" was used in the episode "Jason: The Pretty-Boy Bully" on MTV's Bully Beatdown. "Monster" was the theme song for the WWE event WWE Hell in a Cell while the song "Hero" was the theme song for WWE Tribute to the Troops and Royal Rumble 2010, as well as both songs being included on the official soundtrack for the WWE video game WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2010. It is also the opening theme song for the AHL team the Lake Erie Monsters in Cleveland, Ohio and serves as the opening theme of the Fresno Monsters of Fresno, California. "Monster" was aired at the beginning of several ACC football games on Raycom Sports during the 2009 season. In the first week of April 2010, it was released for the Rock band music store in Rock Band 2 It also tied the record for highest-charting Christian album on the Billboard 200 with Underoath's 2006 release Define the Great Line and Casting Crowns' 2007 release The Altar and the Door, as all three albums debuted at #2. On February 18, Skillet was nominated for 6 Dove Awards for the 41st Annual GMA Dove Awards.Awake was certified gold July 2, 2010. A remix on Monster was featured on their podcast Also in 2010, Ardent released The Early Years, a collection of their songs from 1996 to 2001. On November 12, Skillet released an iTunes sessions EP consisting of songs from Comatose and Awake. "Monster" was certified gold a day later. Rise (2011) On June 21, 2011 John posted to his Twitter account that the band rehearsed new music for the first time and that they are getting ready for a new album. At a question and answer session before a concert, John Cooper said that they would be recording a new record in January/February 2012. However, the band was then scheduled to headline the WinterJam Tour. In January 2012, Skillet announced that they will not be touring for most of the summer so that they can record the new album. They plan to enter the studio at the conclusion of the Winter Jam eastern tour, approximately in May, for a release in late 2012. During a July 18, 2012 interview with RadioU, John Cooper stated the band currently had 61 songs written and would be heading into the studio in October to record the album with Howard Benson for an early 2013 release. In an interview with CCM Magazine, John Cooper described the new album as "a roller coaster ride". He states: "We have aggressive tracks, artsy and musical tracks, which is new territory for Skillet. A couple songs are classic American heartland anthems, and a couple songs are signature symphonic-classical rock Skillet. Guitars are dirty and edgier, with absolute shredding solos by Seth." One of the songs mentioned in the interview was titled "Salvation". In an Interview on January 26, 2013 In Beaumont TX, John Cooper announced that the new album, Rise, would be coming out in May 2013, but was later scheduled for a June 25, 2013 release. In an interview with NoiseCreep, John Cooper stated the first single and music video is scheduled to be released by late April. The first single from the album, "Sick of It", will be released to US Rock radio on April 23, 2013. It was later confirmed that the first single, "Sick of It", would be released on April 9, 2013. "Rise" proved to be another commercial success, generating hit singles like "Not Gonna Die" and "Sick of It." The latter song won the GMA Dove Award for Rock Song of the Year in 2014. The band continued to add to their discography with the release of "Unleashed" in 2016. In 2019, their studio album "Victorious" reached the top spot on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart. This album's success extended to awards, winning the GMA Dove Award for Rock/Contemporary Album of the Year in 2020. The song "Legendary" from "Victorious" also received recognition, winning the GMA Dove Award for Rock/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year in 2020. Skillet showed no signs of slowing down. In September 2021, they released the single "Surviving the Game," a precursor to their eleventh studio album, "Dominion," which arrived in January 2022. Their creative flow continued in December 2022 with the release of a deluxe edition of "Dominion" titled "Dominion: Day of Destiny," featuring the new single "Psycho In My Head." Skillet haven't just been focused on recording new music. They've also maintained an active touring schedule throughout this period. Skillet toured with Ron Luce and Teen Mania Ministries on their Acquire The Fire Tour across the United States and Canada in 2007. When they returned, Skillet had plans to co-headline the Justice & Mercy Tour with Flyleaf, but the tour was postponed and ultimately canceled after a number of shows due to Flyleaf lead vocalist Lacey Mosley's vocal problems. They then toured with Luce's Global Expeditions program on a summer missions trip with teenagers to Mexico. In 2008 they joined Teen Mania Ministries and toured with Acquire the Fire. Skillet joined Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, and Seether on the first half of their tour in fall 2007. Then Skillet headlined their own Comatose Tour alongside Thousand Foot Krutch and traveled to approximately 30 cities. The tour started on March 28 and ran through May 11, 2008. Skillet toured again from April 2009 through June 2009 with Decyfer Down and Disciple. This tour was called Comatose Tour 2009 (essentially a second branch of the 2008 Comatose Tour). In fall of 2009, Skillet began touring with Hawk Nelson, Decyfer Down, and The Letter Black to promote Skillet's album Awake. Alkaline Trio is a punk rock band from Chicago, Illinois consisting of Matt Skiba (guitar/vocals), Dan Andriano (bass/vocals), and Atom Willard (drums/percussion). Their music is characterized by dark lyrics, catchy hooks, fast tempos, and recurring subjects of alcoholism, depression, shattered relationships, drugs, and death. The band formed in December of 1996, originally consisting of Skiba, Rob Doran (bass/vocals), and Glenn Porter (drums/vocals). 1997 saw the release of the band's first EP, Sundials. This was followed shortly after by the departure of Doran. He was replaced by Andriano, who had been the singer for Tuesday and bassist for the ska band Slapstick. The band released their second EP, entitled For Your Lungs Only, in 1998, which began to build them a sizable fan base in the American Midwest. Later that year, they released their first full-length album, Goddamnit, followed by Maybe I'll Catch Fire in 2000. Both were released on Asian Man Records. Also in 2000, the band released a collection of their previously-released EPs on a self-titled album. Following the success of their Asian Man releases, Alkaline Trio signed to Vagrant. Joined by new drummer Mike Felumlee (previously of the Smoking Popes), From Here to Infirmary was released in 2001. It was their first album to see any interest from alternative radio and the mainstream media, with the semi-hit punk single "Stupid Kid" and the inclusion of the song "Armageddon" on the Tony Hawk's Underground as well as Tony Hawks American Wasteland video games. Their cover of "Over at the Frankenstein Place" was included in the compilation The Rocky Horror Punk Rock Show, an album made to pay tribute to the movie The Rocky Horror Picture Show. After the release, Felumlee left the band too and was replaced by Grant, previously of The Suicide Machines. Their next full-length album was Good Mourning, released in 2003, with the album's launch single "We've Had Enough" seeing a considerable amount of commercial success. The album was a significant departure from earlier works, featuring greater production value and a noticeable move toward a more mainstream sound. Skiba and Andriano have both independently recorded split records, Skiba with Kevin Seconds on Asian Man Records and Andriano with Mike Felumlee on Double Zero Records, as well as jointly performing backing vocal duties on the album This is Unity Music by Common Rider. They have also recorded two split EPs with bands who are no longer together: one with Hot Water Music in 2000 and the other with One Man Army in 2004. Alkaline Trio released their fifth studio album on Vagrant Records, entitled Crimson, on May 24, 2005, which featured the single "Time to Waste." In 2004 Andriano became a member of The Falcon, a super-group of consisting of The Lawrence Arms' bassist/co-vocalist Brendan Kelly (with who he had played with in Slapstick), and Neil Hennessy, drummer from The Lawrence Arms. The band released a 5-song EP in 2004, and its first full-length Unicornography in September of 2006. In 2006 Matt Skiba collaborated with Josiah Steinbrick for the band Heavens. Consisting of "a selection of beloved fan favorites selected from the group's extensive catalogue and presented in an intimate semi-unplugged format", the album also included two new songs, "Olde English 800" and "I Remember a Rooftop", as well as a cover version of the Violent Femmes' "I Held Her in My Arms". On April 2nd, 2013, Alkaline Trio released "My Shame Is True". On August 31st, 2013, Alkaline Trio released "Is This Thing Cursed?". On June 8th, 2023, longtime drummer Derek Grant left the band due to mental health reasons and intentions to pursue music production as well as graphic design. He was replaced by Atom Willard, formerly of bands such as Rocket from the Crypt and Against Me!. The band then released the single, "Blood, Hair, and Eyeballs" on October 17th, 2023, and announced an album of the same name due for a release date of January 26th, 2024.

Machine Head is an American heavy metal band from Oakland, California. The band was formed in 1991 by vocalist/guitarist Robb Flynn, who remains the only original member of the band. Machine Head's aggressive musicianship made it one of the pioneering bands in the new wave of American heavy metal. Its current lineup comprises Flynn, bassist Jared MacEachern, drummer Matt Alston and guitarist Reece Scruggs. The band is also known for performing the theme song for the Disney Channel animated series Phineas and Ferb. Following lead guitarist Chris Burney's retirement in 2025, Reddick is the sole remaining original member.

From Ashes to New is an American rock band from Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania. The band's lineup frequently shifted in its early years, with musician Matt Brandyberry being the founding and sole constant member of the group. The band has released five studio albums, Day One, The Future, Panic, Blackout and Reflections. They have found success with many of their singles, including "Through It All", "Crazy", and "Panic", which reached peaks of 6, 3, and 11, respectively, on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart. Fit For A King is a metalcore band from Dallas, Texas, United States formed in 2007. The band comprises vocalist Ryan Kirby, bassist-vocalist Ryan "Tuck" O'Leary, guitarists Bobby Lynge and Daniel Gailey, and drummer Trent Celaya. The band was formed in Dallas, Texas in 2007 by Jared Easterling, Aaron Decur, Justin Juno, Jared McFerron, Alex Danforth and Jed McNeill. The band had performed locally and regionally and released two EPs in their beginning years. In 2009, the band decided to begin touring full-time, and McNeill and McFerron left the band to pursue their education. Ryan Kirby from the band Bodies Awake (based in Fort Worth) joined the band in 2010 to replace Mason Wilson, who had recently replaced Danforth as the front man. Kirby's Bodies Awake bandmate Bobby Lynge joined the band to play guitar. The band tracked their first independent debut studio album, Descendants, in 2011. With the release of their music video "Ancient Waters", the band started to gain a following. Bassist Decur left the band in 2011 to pursue a career in law enforcement and was replaced by Aaron Kadura who performed clean vocals alongside Easterling as well. They released two independent EPs entitled Fit For A King in 2008 and Awaken the Vesper in 2009. They also released one independent album, Descendants, in 2011. In July 2012, the band had signed to Solid State Records. They released their second studio album Creation/Destruction on March 12, 2013 which also their first album through this label. The album sold more than 3,100 copies in its first week of sales. The album was followed by the albums Slave To Nothing (2014), Deathgrip (2016) and Dark Skies (2018). On September 30, 2018, Bobby Lynge announced he would take a break from touring and partially part ways with the band on good terms, citing a need to be with his family and an interest in new business ventures. However, Lynge says he will still be involved in the writing process for the band's next album and he does not exclude to go on tour again with the band. On July 8, the band announced that their sixth studio album The Path would be released on September 18, 2020. On July 10, the band released the second single "God Of Fire" featuring Ryo Kinoshita of Crystal Lake. After the Burial is an American metal band from White Bear Lake, Minnesota, United States formed in 2004. Minnesota's After The Burial broke into the scene in 2004, bringing with them their own style of aggressive hardcore metal. With punishing rhythmic attacks and soaring duels, guitarists Trent Hafdahl and Justin Lowe's approach on heavy metal shredding has been spreading throughout the underground metal scene like wildfire. Guitarist and founding member Justin Lowe officially left the band with a statement on June 24, 2015 citing a massive paranoia over his entire life believing that After the Burial, their record label (Sumerian Records) and most people in his life were out to ruin him. After the Burial responded to Lowe's open letter the following day confirming he was under severe mental distress and requested their fans to support Lowe during his time of recovery. Lowe was under care with his family at the time. On the evening of July 20, 2015, Justin Lowe was pronounced officially missing, and search efforts had been put into place in order to find him. Lowe was found dead by a hiker on July 21, 2015, directly underneath the Wisconsin side of the Arcola High Bridge, while his car was found on the bridge. Authorities state that his death was consistent with that of a fall. It is currently unknown if the fall was accidental or intentional.

Currents is an American metalcore band formed in Newtown, Connecticut in 2011 by former drummer Jeff Brown. After numerous line-up changes, they consist of singer Brian Wille, guitarists Ryan Castaldi and Chris Wiseman, bassist and backing vocalist Christian Pulgarin, and drummer Matt Young. Since 2018, no original members remain with the band.

Metal Church is an American heavy metal band formed in 1980. Originally based in San Francisco, California, they relocated to Aberdeen, Washington the following year and briefly called themselves Shrapnel. Led by guitarist and songwriter Kurdt Vanderhoof, the band has released fourteen studio albums and is considered to be an integral part of the then-emerging Seattle heavy metal music scene of the 1980s, as well as pioneers of the thrash metal, speed metal and power metal genres. They achieved considerable popularity that decade, with two of their first three albums entering the Top 100 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart. The band's early lyrical topics, such as conflict and paranoia, later expanded into philosophical, political and social commentary.

The Acacia Strain is an American metal band that was founded in 2001 and originally based in Chicopee, Massachusetts, but now based in Albany, New York. The group is currently signed to Rise Records and initially consisted of high school friends Vincent Bennett, Christopher Daniele, and Ben Abert, Karrie Whitfield, Daniel "DL" Laskiewicz, and Daniel Daponde joining shortly after. Emmure is an American metalcore band formed in 2003. Originally based in New Fairfield, Connecticut, the group later relocated to Queens, New York. Emmure has released eight studio albums, beginning with an EP titled "The Complete Guide to Needlework" in 2006. The band signed with Victory Records early in their career. Their debut full-length album, "Goodbye to the Gallows," was released in 2007 under the label, followed by "The Respect Issue" (2008), "Felony" (2009), and "Speaker of the Dead" (2011). After fulfilling their initial four-album contract, the band renewed their agreement with Victory to release two more records: "Slave to the Game" (2012) and "Eternal Enemies" (2014). In 2016, Emmure ended their relationship with Victory Records and signed with SharpTone Records. Under the new label, the band released "Look at Yourself" on March 3, 2017, and "Hindsight" on June 26, 2020. Frankie Palmeri, born in 1986, is the band's founding vocalist and the only remaining original member. His outspoken and controversial presence has been a defining aspect of Emmure’s public identity, drawing both criticism and attention within the metalcore scene.

Mac Sabbath is an American parody heavy metal tribute band formed in Los Angeles, California, in 2014. The self-proclaimed founders of "Drive Thru Metal", the band is primarily a parody of English heavy metal group Black Sabbath, using lyricism and imagery centered on fast food. Hence, their style has been called "Drive thru metal" by some publications.

The Ataris are an American punk rock band from Anderson, Indiana. Formed in 1996, they released five studio albums between 1997 and 2007. Their best-selling album is their major label debut album So Long, Astoria (2003), which was certified gold. Their high-charting single is their cover of Don Henley's "The Boys of Summer" from So Long, Astoria. The only constant member throughout their history has been singer/songwriter/guitarist Kristopher "Kris" Roe.

The Rasmus is a rock band formed in 1994 in Helsinki, Uusimaa, Finland. Consisting of Lauri Ylönen (lead singer/songwriter), Eero Heinonen (bass), Aki Hakala (drums) and "Emppu" AKA Emilia Suhonen (guitar). Former guitarist Pauli Rantasalmi left the band in January 2022 to focus on his own path. The band was formed at the end of the band members' schooling and were initially known as Rasmus. They recorded their first single, 1st, released independently through Teja Kotilainen Records in late 1995. They signed with Warner Music Finland in 1996 and released their first album, Peep, that same year. The album went gold in Finland. The band won the Finnish Grammy Award EMMA for “Best New Artist” in 1996. Playboys, the band's second studio album, and its single Blue, released in 1997, both went gold in Finland. Hellofatester was released in 1998, spawning singles Liquid and Swimming With The Kids. The video for Liquid received regular airplay on Nordic MTV. Rasmus became The Rasmus in 2000 to avoid confusion with the similarly named Swedish electronica artist, known simply as Rasmus. Into was released in 2001 and went double platinum in Finland debuting at #1. The first single F-F-F-Falling was #1 in Finland during three months in early 2001. The second single Chill reached the #2 place in Finland. The Rasmus toured Scandinavia and Europe along with HIM and Roxette that year to promote the album. Holy Wars in an american rock band founded by Katherine Pawlak (ex-Sad Robot) in 2017. Every war has its point of origin, that moment when some long- simmering conflict boiled over. It’s the archduke’s assassination. It’s the sinking of the Maine. For frontwoman Kat Leon, the music she’s created in dark pop powerhouse Holy Wars was precipitated by a sudden change, but at the same time, it was born from an inner conflict that had long been there.In 2015, the Connecticut-born songwriter was fronting the buzzing L.A. indie band Sad Robot, collaborating with musician Nick Perez on the project and taking part in all the attendant stuff: the video, the studio time, the album release, the photo shoots. Like Moths to Flames is a metalcore band from Dayton, Ohio, United States, that formed in 2010. The band started when vocalist Chris Roetter, former frontman of Agraceful, had many issues concerning members dropping out. Like Moths to Flames was formed with four previous members of Terrafirma. They have five EPs and six full-length albums, the most recent being The Cycles of Trying to Cope which was released on May 10th, 2024 through UNFD. On October 17, 2010 it was announced that Like Moths to Flames had been signed to Rise Records and were already working on their first EP. Two months later, the band released their EP titled Sweet Talker on December 14, 2010. To help support their new music, the band set out with fellow acts Texas in July and A Hero A Fake on the "A Metal Christmas" tour through late 2010. Sometime before their EP was released, drummer Jordan Matz left Like Moths to Flames, and was replaced by Lance Greenfield. With continuous touring through 2011, the band decided to settle back down and head into the studio to record their first full-length studio album. Right before the band headed to the studio, bassist Aaron Douglas parted ways with the band. The band had Eli Ford (Formerly of My Ticket Home) join on guitar and Aaron Evans moved to bass. When We Don't Exist was released on November 8 through Rise Records. In January 2012 the band headed out on the S.I.N. Tour with acts D.R.U.G.S., Hit the Lights and Sparks the Rescue to support the album. Soon after, they toured with bands Texas in July and Hundredth. The band have confirmed they will record their second full length album with Will Putney at (The Machine Shop) in Hoboken, New Jersey and shall be released in the summer of 2013. On May 29 2013, the band confirmed the new album would be called An Eye for an Eye, slated for a July 9th 2013 release. They toured with the Vans Warped Tour over the summer of 2013 on the Monster Energy Stage. Shortly after the All Stars Tour 2014, guitarist Zach Huston decided to part ways with the band citing that he wants to pursue other interests. It wasn't until late in 2015 that he was replaced by guitarist Jeremy Smith, formerly of City Lights. On April 6, 2015, the band released two standalone singles, The Dream Is Dead and Bury Your Pain, the latter of the two being the band's most popular song. The band's third album, The Dying Things We Wish For was released on October 23, 2015. The album wasn't very popular, as the band moved towards a more "djent" sound. The band themselves have stated that they don't like the album and they seldom play any songs from the album live. The band's fourth and last album to be released on Rise Records was Dark Divine. This album was much softer than the others, but did see a return to their older sound rather than moving forward with the "djent" sound of their last album. They released an EP titled Dark Divine Reimagined which was a collection of acoustic covers from the album. The band would then part ways with Rise Records in May 2019, along with confirming that they've already worked on new songs. The band signed to UNFD in September 2019. No Eternity In Gold, released on October 30, 2020, was the band's fifth album and first to be released on UNFD. This release was heavier than their last album, returning to the band's original sound while still having some softer moments. On October 6, 2021, the band released a single titled The Preservation of Hate, along with teasing an EP scheduled to release on November 9, 2021. The single was far heavier than anything the band has released prior, almost leaning towards a deathcore sound, while the rest of the songs were more traditional metalcore. On January 25, 2023, the band fired founding member Aaron Evans due to the history of alleged abuses with text messages, ranging from multiple secret relationships to manipulation and gaslighting. The band then released a new single titled Predestination Paradox on March 30, 2023.

King 810 is an American nu metal band from Flint, Michigan, formed in 2007. The band currently consists of David Gunn, Eugene Gill, Johnpaul Vega and Bryce Ballinger. The band's first release was their independent EP titled Midwest Monsters in 2012, which earned them a signing with Roadrunner Records; they released their second EP titled Proem in 2014, and their debut studio album Memoirs of a Murderer that same year.

Former BUTCHER BABIES singer Carla Harvey has launched a new project called THE VIOLENT HOUR in September 2024. At least some of the early recording sessions for the project have been overseen by producer Jay Ruston, who has previously worked with ANTHRAX, STEEL PANTHER and URIAH HEEP, among many others. In July 2025 , Carla Harvey released the debut self-titled EP from her new solo project the Violent Hour. An all-star affair, the record features Zakk Wylde, John 5 and, most of all, Anthrax drummer. Charlie Benante, who co-wrote the songs and played every instrument.

Cane Hill is an American heavy metal band formed in New Orleans, Louisiana in 2011. The band consists of vocalist Elijah Witt, guitarist James Barnett, bassist Ryan Henriquez, and drummer Devin Clark. In 2015, the band signed to Rise Records, releasing their debut self-titled EP, Cane Hill. In 2016, the band released their debut full-length studio album, Smile. On January 19, 2018, their sophomore album Too Far Gone, was released, again via Rise Records. Too Far Gone was critically acclaimed, featuring the singles "Too Far Gone, "It Follows", "Lord of Flies" and "10¢". In late 2019, the band left Rise Records and became independent. As of 2021, the band has released two studio albums: Smile (2016) and Too Far Gone (2018), and three EPs: Cane Hill (2014), Kill the Sun (2019) and Krewe de la Mort Vol. 1 (2021). Cane Hill is currently recording material for two subsequent volumes of Krewe de la Mort Vol. 1, from which the songs "Power of the High" and "Kill Me" were released in late 2020. In February 2021, the band released the final single of Vol. 1 with "God Is the Enemy" during a Youtube livestream. On April 30th, the music video for the first single from Vol. 2, "Blood & Honey" was released along with a music video. In 2023, Cane Hill announced they had signed with Out of Line Music and with it released their single titled "A Form of Protest." In 2024, the band has released four singles including "The Midnight Sun," "Ecstasy in Grief," "Fade" and "Fade (Into You)" with the final single announcing their third LP "a piece of me i never let you find.", which came out on November 1st of that year.
