Papa Roach is an American rock band from Vacaville, California, formed in 1993. After a few early shifts, the band initially stabilized in 1996 with the lineup of lead vocalist Jacoby Shaddix, drummer Dave Buckner, guitarist Jerry Horton, and bassist Tobin Esperance. This lineup remained consistent for slightly over a decade.

A Day to Remember is an American rock band formed in Ocala, Florida, in 2003 by guitarist Tom Denney and drummer Bobby Scruggs. They are known for their amalgamation of metalcore and pop-punk. The band currently consists of vocalist Jeremy McKinnon, rhythm guitarist Neil Westfall, percussionist/drummer Alex Shelnutt and lead guitarist Kevin Skaff.

Babymetal , stylized in all caps, is a Japanese kawaii metal band formed in Tokyo in 2010. It consists of Suzuka Nakamoto as "Su-metal", Moa Kikuchi as "Moametal", and Momoko Okazaki as "Momometal". The band is produced by Kobametal from the talent agency Amuse Inc. Their vocals are backed by instrumentation performed by a group of session musicians known as the "Kami Band".

Glenn Allen Anzalone, better known by his stage name Glenn Danzig, is an American singer, songwriter, musician, actor, film director and record producer. He is the founder of the rock bands Misfits, Samhain, and Danzig. He owns the Evilive record label as well as Verotik, an adult-oriented comic book publishing company.

In This Moment is an American rock band from Los Angeles, California, formed by singer Maria Brink and guitarist Chris Howorth in 2005. They found drummer Jeff Fabb and started the band as Dying Star. Unhappy with their musical direction, they changed their name to In This Moment and gained two band members, guitarist Blake Bunzel and bassist Josh Newell. In 2005, bassist Newell left the band and was replaced by Jesse Landry.

Dance Gavin Dance is an American rock band from Sacramento, California, formed in 2005. It consists of lead guitarist Will Swan, drummer Matthew Mingus, harsh vocalist Jon Mess, and lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Andrew Wells. The band formerly included lead vocalists Jonny Craig, Kurt Travis, and Tilian Pearson, and the lineup has changed numerous times since their inception. Swan and Mingus are the only band members who have appeared on every studio album.

Chiodos were an American post-hardcore band from Davison, Michigan, formed in 2001. Originally known as "The Chiodos Bros." the band's name was a tribute to filmmakers Stephen, Charles, and Edward Chiodo, responsible for the movie Killer Klowns from Outer Space. Their second full length album, Bone Palace Ballet, was released in North America on September 4, 2007 and debuted at number 5 on the Billboard 200 and number 1 on Top Independent Albums. Warner Bros. Records released Bone Palace Ballet on January 26, 2009, as part of a new distribution deal in the UK. Chiodos was formed at the Flint Local 432, a small venue in downtown Flint, Michigan and Olde Jamestowne Hall in Saginaw, Michigan. The band is known for their on-stage performances which include controlled, high-pitched vocals from former lead singer, Craig Owens. Craig Owens has cited lead singer of Faith No More, Mr. Bungle, etc. fame, Mike Patton as one of his greatest influences saying, "I only wish I could be as good as him." Their debut album, All's Well That Ends Well (Equal Vision Records) was released on July 26, 2005. It reached #3 on the Billboard Top Heatseekers chart and #164 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. While their sophomore album, Bone Palace Ballet reached the number 5 spot on the Billboard 200. The band's albums and live performances have garnered praise from press outlets. Chiodos headlined some shows on their own before joining Alternative Press's 2006 "Invisible Sideshow" tour, headlined by Armor for Sleep. Following that tour, they supported Matchbook Romance on the Sub City "Take Action" tour in Spring 2006. That summer, they toured with Fear Before the March of Flames, as well as appearing on the Warped Tour.In fall 2006, Chiodos appeared on Atreyu's World Championship Tour, alongside From First to Last and Every Time I Die, as well as 3 and 36 Crazyfists. Chiodos has had several scuffs with those in the music industry, most notably Steven Smith of Steven's Untitled Rock Show, Andy Williams of Every Time I Die, and HORSE The Band. In 2005, Chiodos independently made a video for the song "All Nereids Beware." The video consists of the band playing the rare pre-All's Well That Ends Well version of the song in a parking lot. In 2006, Chiodos made videos for "One Day Women Will All Become Monsters" and "Baby, You Wouldn't Last a Minute on the Creek". The "Baby, You Wouldn't Last a Minute on the Creek" video was included on the 2006 re-issue of All's Well That Ends Well, which added a DVD and three acoustic tracks to the 2005 release. A video for "Lexington (Joey Pea-Pot With A Monkey Face)" was made which premiered world wide on April 2, 2008 on the social network MySpace. This was the first single of their sophomore album, "Bone Palace Ballet". Chiodos' drummer, Derrick Frost has stated in an interview that the band was disappointed in the final result of the music video, saying "Well, usually there are different people who throw out ideas and we go through them and add in our own suggestions but that video definitely didn’t turn out like we wanted it to turn out, like at all. We’re pretty disappointed with it. We never get a video where we’re all like “This is amazing!” And that’s what every band wants, to have an amazing video because that can push your career and your band so far. And we haven’t gotten that yet so it’s kind of frustrating. It’s just like so much money that we spent on this for no reason. No one’s going to play it; it’s not getting played at all." On September 16, 2008, Chiodos teamed up with acclaimed director Darren Doane and The Crofoot Ballroom to shoot a video for "The Undertaker's Thirst For Revenge Is Unquenchable (The Final Battle)" in downtown Pontiac, MI. The video was released on December 20, 2008. On September 24, 2010, it was announced that Craig Owens was no longer the singer of Chiodos. On February 8, 2010, Brandon Bolmer (Yesterdays Rising) was confirmed as the new lead singer for Chiodos; he performed vocals on the band's third studio album, Illuminaudio. Craig Owens later returned for the band's fourth studio album, Devil, but Chiodos disbanded before recording any more material.

Anthrax is an American heavy metal band from New York City, formed in 1981 by rhythm guitarist Scott Ian and bassist Dan Lilker. The group is considered one of the leaders of the thrash metal scene from the 1980s and is part of the "Big Four" of the genre, along with Metallica, Megadeth and Slayer. They were also one of the first thrash metal bands to emerge from the East Coast. The band's current lineup consists of Scott Ian, drummer Charlie Benante, bassist Frank Bello, vocalist Joey Belladonna and lead guitarist Jonathan Donais. Anthrax's lineup has changed numerous times over their career, leaving Ian as the only constant member of the band. Ian and Benante are the only two members to appear on all of Anthrax's albums, while Bello has been a member of Anthrax since 1984, replacing Lilker.

Animals as Leaders is a Washington, D.C. based instrumental/progressive-metal project formed by guitarist Tosin Abasi in 2007. Their self-titled debut album was released in April 2009 by Prosthetic Records. Animals as Leaders was formed "out of the ashes" of guitarist Tosin Abasi's previous band, Reflux. The heavy metal record label Prosthetic Records saw Abasi's guitar work and asked him to create a solo album for them. Abasi initially declined, feeling such an endeavor would be "egotistical and unnecessary". When Reflux disbanded, Abasi decided to take the label's offer. The name Animals as Leaders was inspired by Daniel Quinn's 1992 novel Ishmael, which addresses anthropocentrism. Abasi coined the name as a reminder "that we're all essentially animals". The project's first album, Animals as Leaders, was recorded in early 2008. Abasi recorded all guitar and bass tracks on the album; drums and various synthesized effects were programmed by engineer Misha Mansoor. The album was released April 28, 2009 by Prosthetic Records. Their second album, Weightless, was released November 8, 2011, with the addition of Javier Reyes and Navene Koperweis on rhythm guitar and drums, respectively. After touring in support of the record, it was announced that Navene Koperweis would be leaving the band. He was replaced by Matt Garstka for further touring duties. It was announced in late December of 2012 that Animals As Leaders had signed a deal with Sumerian Records, who released band's next album in 2013. Thrice is an American post-hardcore band that formed in Irvine, California in 1998. The lineup consists of Dustin Kensrue (vocals and guitar), Teppei Teranishi (guitar, keys), Eddie Breckenridge (bass), and Riley Breckenridge (drums). In 2000, Thrice signed with Sub City Records and released two LP's. The first, Identity Crisis (2000), only received 1.5 stars in the AMG review and little buzz. The second, The Illusion of Safety (2002), was widely acclaimed and received attention from major record labels. Even though Thrice's music has always included metal influences, The Illusion of Safety contained a heavier metalcore sound. The album was recorded in Beltsville, Maryland and the track The Beltsville Crucible reflects this. In 2003 Thrice signed up with Island Records and released The Artist in the Ambulance, which featured more metal oriented songs while keeping true to their hardcore influences. In 2005 a DVD outlining their entire career to date was released under the title If We Could Only See Us Now. It included a CD with live tracks from the Apple Store and various b-sides. Thrice released their fourth full-length album, Vheissu, on October 18, 2005. The album was characterized by many critics as being experimentally different, using non-traditional Thrice elements in the process. From keyboard melodies ("For Miles") to Japanese music-box undertones ("Music Box") to chain gang chant choruses ("The Earth Will Shake"), Vheissu introduced a new sound to the band's post-hardcore roots. UK producer Steve Osborne, whose past credits include many Brit-pop hits, was sought by Thrice to gain a new perspective on the songwriting process, enabling the band to expand their musical influences and produce a different album. The album garnered widespread critical acclaim and peaked at #15 on the Billboard 200. The band releasedRed Sky, an EP comprised of various b-sides as well as live recordings, shortly after Vheissu. Thrice released the first and second volume of The Alchemy Index, a highly experimental project based on the four traditional elements (fire, water, earth, and air), on October 16th 2007. Over the summer Thrice parted ways with Island records and signed with Vagrant. The Alchemy Index Vols. I & II - Fire & Water was released on October 16, 2007, and sold 28,000 copies in its first week. The album consists of the first two volumes, Fire and Water, and features 12 songs, 6 on each disk. The third and fourth volumes, Air & Earth were released on April 15, 2008. The "Fire" disc features the heavier post-hardcore sound traditional Thrice fans will quickly embrace, harking back to their pre-Vheissu albums. The "Water" disc, however, is comprised of ambient songs similar to those found in Vheissu, Thrice's previous album release. The "Air" disc brings a whole new element of electronic elements and delayed guitar riffs to Thrice's sound. In "Earth", much like Dustin Kensrue's solo album, "Please Come Home", Thrice introduces an indie-folk sound combining intricate piano and acoustic guitar. Thrice's sixth studio album Beggars was released digitally through Vagrant Records in the UK on August 9, 2009 and in the US on August 11 with a physical release containing bonus material pencilled in for September 15. These dates deviate from the original proposed release date of October 13 because of a leak via Vagrant Records web player, which has meant the artwork for the album has also changed. The first single to be taken from the album is All the World Is Mad and was first made available through Guitar Hero: World Tour on July 23. Dustin Kensrue has described the album as being "more visceral and more raw - both in the songwriting and in the overall sound. It moves with a different energy than any of our past records. It was born out of us playing together in a room, almost as a backlash to the giant headgame that was The Alchemy Index" and has been well received critically. The seventh studio album Major/Minor came out on September 20, 2011 through Vagrant Records. Yellow Belly, Promises and a few other songs were made available for the listeners to stream online before the release date. The album received extremely positive reviews from many online websites. Alex Djaferis of Absolutepunk.net gave Major/Minor a rating of 95%. Tracks like Promises and Listen Through Me reflected a natural progression from the sound Thrice created in Beggars, which was widely appreciated by the early listeners. Thrice decided to take a break from being a full time band on November 21, 2011. In late spring/early summer Thrice announced the 'Farewell' tour for the spring/summer of 2012 , which would be the bands final tour before going into an indefinite hiatus. In early 2015 it was announced that the band intends to release new music and tour again. Loathe are an English heavy metal band from Liverpool. The band's music makes use of elements of metalcore and nu metal, while also incorporating more experimental aspects from genres like shoegaze, progressive metal and industrial music. Formed in 2011 under the name Our Imbalance, the group consists of lead vocalist Kadeem France, guitarist and second vocalist Erik Bickerstaffe, drummer Sean Radcliffe and bassist Feisal El-Khazragi.

Bowling for Soup is an American rock band formed in Wichita Falls, Texas, in 1994. The band consists of Jaret Reddick, Gary Wiseman, and Rob Felicetti. The band is best known for its singles "Girl All the Bad Guys Want", "1985", "Almost", "Punk Rock 101", and "High School Never Ends". The band is also known for performing the theme song for the Disney Channel animated series Phineas and Ferb. Following lead guitarist Chris Burney's retirement in 2025, Reddick is the sole remaining original member.

Soulfly is a Brazilian-American heavy metal band formed in Phoenix, Arizona in 1997. Soulfly is led by former Sepultura frontman Max Cavalera, who formed the band after he left the Brazilian group in 1996. To date the band has released thirteen studio albums, one tour EP, twenty-three singles, one video album, and twelve music videos. Their debut album, Soulfly, was released on April 21, 1998, while their most recent album, Chama, was released in October 2025.

Between the Buried and Me is a progressive metal band from Raleigh, North Carolina, comprised of former members of metalcore acts Prayer For Cleansing and Glass Casket. Chelsea Grin is an American deathcore band from Salt Lake City, Utah. Formed in 2007, the group have released two EPs and seven full-length albums. Since 2018, no founding members remain in the band. Despite not being in the original line-up, bassist David Flinn has been the only constant member on all the group's studio albums.

After the Burial is an American metal band from White Bear Lake, Minnesota, United States formed in 2004. Minnesota's After The Burial broke into the scene in 2004, bringing with them their own style of aggressive hardcore metal. With punishing rhythmic attacks and soaring duels, guitarists Trent Hafdahl and Justin Lowe's approach on heavy metal shredding has been spreading throughout the underground metal scene like wildfire. Having completed tours with heavy hitters such as Disturbed, Killswitch Engage, Necrophagist, and Hatebreed, their genre transcending style of metal has captured the ears of heavy metal, hardcore, and death metal fans alike. With the release of their album "Rareform", which showcases their talented use of 7 and 8-string guitars, they have solidified themselves as pioneers of the instrument. The group has recorded four full-length albums, Forging a Future Self (2006), which was self produced, Rareform (2008), and Rareform Re-Issue (2009), a remastered, re-recorded copy of the original Rareform and In Dreams (2010). Guitarist and founding member Justin Lowe officially left the band with a statement on June 24, 2015 citing a massive paranoia over his entire life believing that After the Burial, their record label (Sumerian Records) and most people in his life were out to ruin him. After the Burial responded to Lowe's open letter the following day confirming he was under severe mental distress and requested their fans to support Lowe during his time of recovery. Lowe was under care with his family at the time. On the evening of July 20, 2015, Justin Lowe was pronounced officially missing, and search efforts had been put into place in order to find him. Lowe was found dead by a hiker on July 21, 2015, directly underneath the Wisconsin side of the Arcola High Bridge, while his car was found on the bridge. Authorities state that his death was consistent with that of a fall. It is currently unknown if the fall was accidental or intentional.

ivri is a singer, songwriter, and producer based in Brooklyn, New York. Her music blends lo-fi, dream pop, indie rock, and psychedelia, characterized by soft vocals and introspective lyrics. She first gained attention by anonymously posting her songs on Instagram, where they were widely sampled in the lo-fi community and racked up millions of streams. In 2020, ivri began releasing original music, starting with the single “Glow Worms”, which became a streaming success. Her debut EP, the star factory (2023), marked a shift from lo-fi aesthetics to a more ethereal and distorted indie rock sound. ivri is known for creating melancholic, intimate soundscapes that explore themes like isolation, perception, and identity. Rooted in virtuosic guitar riffs, vibrant drum patterns and powerful bass lines, the nu-metal band Silly Goose of Atlanta, Georgia creates a dynamic sound built for a crowd of head-banging music lovers who love a good kick of intensity. Silly Goose began in 2017 under the name “Student Driver,” but since then changed the name of the band and the lineup of members affiliated. Hannah Rose Collins, professionally known as Scene Queen and formerly RØSÉ, is an American singer signed to Hopeless Records. She is known for coining the style "bimbocore", a subgenre of metalcore with feminist themes. She rose to fame on the social media platform TikTok, where she has garnered over 618,000 followers as of September 2023. Her debut EP Bimbocore was released in April 2022. A follow-up EP, Bimbocore Vol. 2, was released in November of that year. Her debut studio album, Hot Singles in Your Area, was released in 2024.

Caskets, formed in 2018 under the name Captives, are a British post-hardcore band from Leeds, England. The band was founded by bassist Christopher McIntosh, who played rhythm guitar at the time, Benji Wilson (lead guitar) and bassist Lee Horner, who together left their previous project Faultlines to pursue new projects. The band was completed with James Lazenby (drums) and Matthew Flood (vocals). Flood had previously played guitar and sang in the pop punk band Silhouettes. On September 23, 2018, the band released their debut single Ghost Like You via the YouTube channel Dreambound. The EP of the same name was announced for April 2019. Before the release, the band released two more singles, Signs and Find a Way, before the EP was released on their own on April 26, 2019. Afterwards we went on a European tour with the Australian post-hardcore band Hands Like Houses and another show as the opening act for Bad Omens in Hanover. In the summer, Caskets made several festival appearances, including in Germany and Sweden, and played a few shows as the opening act for the Japanese metalcore band Crystal Lake in Germany. The band toured the UK in September 2019 for a number of concerts with Acres and Parting Gift. There they played a new single called Falling Apart for the first time. After the tour, founding member Lee Horner left the band for personal reasons. Christopher McIntosh switched from rhythm guitar to bass. Former Glamor of the Kill guitarist Craig Robinson was hired as the new rhythm guitarist. On March 1, 2020, Caskets released the previously only played live single Falling Apart, again via Dreambound. The band was signed by SharpTone Records a short time later. With the announcement of being signed, Caskets announced their new single Glass Heart, which was released on December 4, 2020. Rain City Drive are an American rock/post-hardcore band from Sacramento, California, United States, formed in 2014 under the name Slaves. They released three studio albums, "Through Art We Are All Equals" on June 24, 2014, "Routine Breathing" on August 21, 2015 and "Beautiful Death" on February 16, 2018 with founding member and original lead vocalist Jonny Craig. On January 24, 2019, the band announced that Jonny Craig was removed from the band citing his addictions. He was replaced by NBC's The Voice runner-up Matt McAndrew, with whom they released their fourth studio album, "To Better Days" on August 7, 2020. Prior to the album's release, on June 25, 2020, the band announced that it would be their final release under the name Slaves, stating that "As obstinate supporters of the BLM movement, we cannot continue to tie our music and our positive message to a word associated with such negative weight and hurt." On October 15, 2021, the band announced that they had changed their name to Rain City and signed to independent record label Thriller Records. However, the band later opted to be known as Rain City Drive due to unforeseen circumstances and to avoid future problems.

Powerman 5000, sometimes abbreviated PM5K, is an American rock band from Boston, Massachusetts. Founded in 1991, the group has released eleven studio albums, gaining its highest level of commercial success with 1999's Tonight the Stars Revolt!, which reached number 29 on the Billboard 200 while spawning the singles "When Worlds Collide" and "Nobody's Real". Frontman Spider One, younger brother of fellow metal musician Rob Zombie, has been the only consistent member of the lineup since the band's formation, and the band has long been known for its variability in sound, taking inspiration from rap-rock in the early nineties, sci-fi and metal at the turn of the millennium, punk/nu-metal and industrial through the 2000s, and electronic rock through the 2010s and 2020s.

The Barbarians of California is an American post-hardcore, hardcore punk, and alternative metal band formed in Los Angeles in 2024. The project was created as a heavier side project connected to Aaron Bruno, best known as the frontman of Awolnation. The band’s sound combines aggressive hardcore energy, punk attitude, heavy metal riffs, and elements of thrash metal. Their music draws influence from bands such as Slayer, Metallica, Queens of the Stone Age, and Nirvana. Their lyrics often feature sarcasm, dark humor, and social commentary, delivered with a rebellious and chaotic style. Emery is an American four-piece alternative rock band from Rock Hill, South Carolina, currently working under their own indie label, Bad Christian Music. Emery moved to Seattle, Washington in order to reach a more music centered scene. The band resists being labeled a "Christian band". Before signing with Tooth & Nail, Emery recorded 2 EP's, The Columbus EEP Thee and The Weak's End demo that they used to attract attention from labels. With Tooth & Nail, they have recorded 4 studio albums, and 2 EPs. The Weak's End, their debut album, was released in 2004, followed by The Question in 2005 and I'm Only A Man in 2007. The latter fulfilled Emery's contract with Tooth & Nail. However, the band re-signed with the label and released In Shallow Seas We Sail on June 2, 2009. The band's most recent album, We Do What We Want, was released on March 29, 2011. Formation and Early Years (2000 – 2001) Emery formed in 2001 in Rock Hill, South Carolina but moved to Seattle, Washington in search of a better musical environment. The band was named after a first grader that Toby Morrell met while working as an intern for a teacher in college. The four members in the band at the time, Toby Morrell (vocals/guitar), Devin Shelton (drums), Matt Carter (guitar/keyboards), and Joel "Chopper" Green (bass) actually left Rock Hill, South Carolina for Seattle on September 11, the day of the terrorist attacks; they found out about the attacks when they stopped at a local diner in South Carolina. Most of the members are from the bands Sachul, Joe 747, Simply Waynes and Oogie Brown. After a little while Seth Studley, who was one of the original members of the band, broke out of a serious relationship and followed them to Seattle and resumed his post as drummer. Since Seth took over drums, Devin went ahead and took the position of guitarist. The Weak's End (2002 – 2004) After making Emerald City their new home in Seattle, Washington, Emery signed a record deal with Tooth & Nail Records, also of Seattle, in 2002. Wasting no time, Emery paired up with producer/engineer Ed Rose and worked on their debut album, The Weak's End. It was produced at the Black Lodge Studio in Eudora, Kansas. The record was released in January 2004 by Tooth & Nail Records. Emery toured extensively to promote their new release. The Question (2005 – 2006) While touring, Seth Studley decided to leave the band in order to get married and Emery had to look for a new drummer. While touring with Haste the Day, Dave Powell was brought out to audition. Powell was officially put in the band on November 2005. Powell originally played in the Indianapolis-based metalcore/hardcore band The Bowels of Judas. Soon after touring, Emery went back into the studio to record their next record with production done by Aaron Sprinkle this time around. The band took five weeks in recording sessions. The Question was released on August 2, 2005. "Studying Politics" was released as the album's first single with a video emerging on June 29, 2005. On November 21, 2006, Emery re-released The Question, adding a DVD, five acoustic versions of previously recorded songs and two new demo tracks, which were produced by Matt Carter. The DVD included a documentary film of Emery, live songs and bonus footage. After the re-release, Joel "Chopper" Green decided to leave the band. On September 19, 2006, Emery posted a blog on their website explaining the departure. Devin and Toby since then switched bass parts in concerts and in the studio. I'm Only A Man (2007 – 2008) While touring with Underoath in Australia, Emery announced that they were releasing a new album. The album, I'm Only A Man, leaked onto the internet before its official release on October 2, 2007. The album was produced by Ryan Boesch and Matt Carter and recorded at Dark Horse Studio in Tennessee. It received mixed reviews. Emery released a deluxe edition of the album as well, which featured four acoustic songs that were recorded while on the Take Action Tour with The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus and DVD with a live footage and a documentary. The iTunes version of the deluxe edition also added a bonus track called "Whoa! Man". While Broken Hearts Prevail and ...In Shallow Seas We Sail (2008 – 2010) Emery announced in an interview on TVU that they finished a new 8-track EP entitled While Broken Hearts Prevail, which was released on October 28, 2008. They began premiering some of the new material while on tour opening for The Almost, including a song entitled "Edge Of The World". In an interview with Toby Morrell, Emery announced that would be releasing a new album called ...In Shallow Seas We Sail. Up until the announcement of Emery resigning to Tooth & Nail Records, it was unsure if the band would seek a new label, since their contract had expired. They re-signed with Tooth & Nail and soon gave out information on their new release. On April 7, 2009, Emery released a new song entitled "Cutthroat Collapse" on their Myspace, Purevolume, and iTunes. On May 29, 2009, Emery put ...In Shallow Seas We Sail in its entirety up on their Myspace. On June 2, 2009, ...In Shallow Seas We Sail was officially released. During their headlining U.S. tour, Emery had selected dates filmed for a DVD in the works. The release date is unknown at this time. Emery set out on tour supporting Underoath on their fall/winter headlining tour for the rest of the year. In the summer of 2010 they went on the "Scream it Like You Mean it" tour with Silverstein, Ivoryline, Dance Gavin Dance, We Came as Romans, Sky Eats Airplane, and I Set My Friends On Fire. We Do What We Want (2011- 2012) On January 26, 2011 it was announced that the band's fifth album We Do What We Want is set to be released on March 29, 2011. The band also released a clip of a song titled "Scissors". Another song titled "The Curse of Perfect Days" has been released to Christian rock radio stations. On January 31, 2011, vocalist, rhythm guitarist, and bassist Devin Shelton announced he was taking an "indefinite hiatus" from Emery. On February 1, 2011 a song titled "The Cheval Glass" was released on the band's Facebook, Youtube and Myspace page. On February 17, 2011, the band announced that We Do What We Want would be released through both Tooth & Nail and their hardcore/metal subdivision Solid State Records reflecting the heavier sound of the album. In 2012, Toby Morrell and Matt Carter formed a side project duo, simply called Matt & Toby, with a more acoustic/electronic type sound. The duo released a self-titled album in November of that year via Tooth & Nail. Bad Christian Music (2013 - present) In 2013 Emery did not resign with Tooth & Nail records, subsequently leaving the label. Later that year, they founded Bad Christian Music, a blog & podcast website, as well as an indie record label. In 2014, the band released two books, Bad Christian, Great Savior, and The M Word. On May 19th, 2015 Emery released their sixth full length album, their first album via Bad Christian Music, You Were Never Alone. The album peaked at No. 69 on the Billboard 200, No. 1 on Top Christian Albums, No. 6 on Independent Albums, No. 8 on Alternative Music[ No. 10 on Top Rock Albums and No. 31 on Top Album Sales. Formed in 2009 in Reading, USA, RIVERS OF NIHIL – which can be can be defined as the continuation of a neutral flow of retaining emptiness; humble, egoless…— took shape after Jake Dieffenbach (vocals), Ron Nelson (drums), and Jon Kunz (guitars) got together to create a band to push the boundaries of death metal. Formed out of the ashes of their previous band, Jake, Ron, and Jon played their first show as a three piece, but soon after the band recruited Adam Biggs (bass/vocals) and Brody Uttley (guitars) who had both recently exited their own old band. RIVERS OF NIHIL went on to self-release two EPs—2010′s Hierarchy and 2011′s Temporality Unbound. The band played several shows and toured throughout the East Coast and Midwest, including stops at Midwest Fuckfest with Dying Fetus, Misery Index and Arsis, and Akron Deathfest with Complete Failure. RIVERS OF NIHIL continued to tour in support of their EPs, sharing the stage with Suffocation, The Faceless, Despised Icon, Revocation, Beneath the Massacre, Dysrhythmia, Decapitated, Six Feet Under, and Decrepit Birth, logging over 50 dates in the US alone. Enter the summer of 2012; RIVERS OF NIHIL and Metal Blade Records began talks, and in September the band was officially signed to the label. In March of 2013 RIVERS OF NIHIL entered the studio with death metal master Erik Rutan (Hate Eternal, ex-Morbid Angel) at MANA RECORDING STUDIOS (Cannibal Corpse, Goatwhore, Exhumed, Mountain Goats) in St. Petersburg, Florida to begin the recording of their first full-length studio set for release before the end of 2013. Once RIVERS OF NIHIL finish recording they will hit the road to play in front of as many metalheads as possible during the summer and fall to support their upcoming Metal Blade Records debut.

Like Moths to Flames is a metalcore band from Dayton, Ohio, United States, that formed in 2010. The band started when vocalist Chris Roetter, former frontman of Agraceful, had many issues concerning members dropping out. Like Moths to Flames was formed with four previous members of Terrafirma. They have five EPs and six full-length albums, the most recent being The Cycles of Trying to Cope which was released on May 10th, 2024 through UNFD. On October 17, 2010 it was announced that Like Moths to Flames had been signed to Rise Records and were already working on their first EP. Two months later, the band released their EP titled Sweet Talker on December 14, 2010. To help support their new music, the band set out with fellow acts Texas in July and A Hero A Fake on the "A Metal Christmas" tour through late 2010. Sometime before their EP was released, drummer Jordan Matz left Like Moths to Flames, and was replaced by Lance Greenfield. With continuous touring through 2011, the band decided to settle back down and head into the studio to record their first full-length studio album. Right before the band headed to the studio, bassist Aaron Douglas parted ways with the band. The band had Eli Ford (Formerly of My Ticket Home) join on guitar and Aaron Evans moved to bass. When We Don't Exist was released on November 8 through Rise Records. In January 2012 the band headed out on the S.I.N. Tour with acts D.R.U.G.S., Hit the Lights and Sparks the Rescue to support the album. Soon after, they toured with bands Texas in July and Hundredth. The band then spent the first half of 2013 headlining the Rise Records tour around the US with supporting acts Crown The Empire, The Color Morale, Palisades and My Ticket Home. The band have confirmed they will record their second full length album with Will Putney at (The Machine Shop) in Hoboken, New Jersey and shall be released in the summer of 2013. On May 29 2013, the band confirmed the new album would be called An Eye for an Eye, slated for a July 9th 2013 release. They toured with the Vans Warped Tour over the summer of 2013 on the Monster Energy Stage. Shortly after the All Stars Tour 2014, guitarist Zach Huston decided to part ways with the band citing that he wants to pursue other interests. It wasn't until late in 2015 that he was replaced by guitarist Jeremy Smith, formerly of City Lights. On April 6, 2015, the band released two standalone singles, The Dream Is Dead and Bury Your Pain, the latter of the two being the band's most popular song. The band's third album, The Dying Things We Wish For was released on October 23, 2015. The album wasn't very popular, as the band moved towards a more "djent" sound. The band themselves have stated that they don't like the album and they seldom play any songs from the album live. The band's fourth and last album to be released on Rise Records was Dark Divine. This album was much softer than the others, but did see a return to their older sound rather than moving forward with the "djent" sound of their last album. They released an EP titled Dark Divine Reimagined which was a collection of acoustic covers from the album. The band would then part ways with Rise Records in May 2019, along with confirming that they've already worked on new songs. The band signed to UNFD in September 2019. No Eternity In Gold, released on October 30, 2020, was the band's fifth album and first to be released on UNFD. This release was heavier than their last album, returning to the band's original sound while still having some softer moments. On October 6, 2021, the band released a single titled The Preservation of Hate, along with teasing an EP scheduled to release on November 9, 2021. The single was far heavier than anything the band has released prior, almost leaning towards a deathcore sound, while the rest of the songs were more traditional metalcore. On January 25, 2023, the band fired founding member Aaron Evans due to the history of alleged abuses with text messages, ranging from multiple secret relationships to manipulation and gaslighting. The band then released a new single titled Predestination Paradox on March 30, 2023.

The story of Cenobita 1993 - The Beginning Cenobita's history begins in 1993, in Mexico City, from the ashes of an alternative band named Nefelheim, where Claus Bita (machinery and vox) and Omar Flo (vox) met. Due to the mutual interest for electronic music the band was born. In the beginning Cenobita used extensive distorted guitars, with percusive sequences, violent rythms and melodic tunes, all set in a crossover style. The distorted, acid texture, irritating and shredding voice was the best way to describe cyberpunk themes, like our own actual scenery. :: Influences Since early lyrics, Our Father William Gibson's cyberpunk concepts, precepts and knowledge, has always been the deepest influence, and his novel "Neuromancer" should always be remembered as our bible. Industrial-electro acts like Skinny Puppy, Throbbing Gristle, Front Line Assembly, Einstürzende Neubauten, Leaether Strip, Mentallo and The Fixer, :Wumpscut:, yelworC, etc have been in some way a musical influence for Cenobita. Music production started back then, and the first live appearance happened in August 1994 along with also new comers Hocico. Then the clubs/venues/theatres search started. The dark electronic scene was just unexisiting back then. :: First release The first song ever recorded, "Genetica Mecanica", was offered to local label "Opcion Sonica", for an electronic compilation named "From Trance to Cyber", The CD was released in 1995, and Cenobita achieved the best comments all over. In 1996, Cernobita released their first full production: "Cybertuality", the demo tape, included 6 songs: Genetica Mecanica, Valentino Muerto, Fugitivo, Constructor, Niño Atomico and Angel Desnudo. All of them with spanish lyrics, atmospheric soundscapes and complex melodies. Plenty of concerts took place, and a few interviews on radio and T.V. shows were given. The band and the premiere tape got very positive reviews, in countries like Australia or France. General acceptance and recognition established the band as one the main foundations of the mexican dark electronic scene. :: The rising Scene In that same year, Cenobita along other mexican electronic bands - Deus Ex Machina (RIP), Hocico, Kristi Artefaktum (RIP), Oxomaxoma and Soucerx (RIP) gathered and formed an association dedicated to produce, establish and promote underground electronic music in Mexico. This association was known as "Corporacion" featuring friendship and good will among all participants. Loyalty and Honor was always needed to remain as a member of "Corporacion" the Mother of All Organizations. (The association is now extinct. It served the members well while it lasted. Unfortunately collaboration had to be stopped, due to the lack of team work after personal interests grew among some bands...) By the end of this year, electronic music scene was bookmarked for ever when Cenobita played at the "Museo Universitario del Chopo" along with techno pop band Digitus Lex. Due to the great acceptance of the event, Cenobita proposed to create an annual Festival in that same venue, considered as the "Industrial Temple". So then the "Art and Electronic Music Encounter" was born (...it happened on a yearly basis for four years afterwise), in February 1996, structured and supervised by Corporacion, featuring other rising bands from the electronic scene, such as Deus Ex Machina, Soucerx, Krimenia, Portent, Hocico, Dulce Liquido, etc... :: Visionary 1996 "Visiones" was the second demo tape, released later this year. Reality is analized by the beholder of life. Once again the visions of the cenobite took place, with a prospective point of view, fed by general crisis, product of modern life, and Mexico?s own reality transcript to a certain future. "Etnia", "Ensamblaje", "Regimen", "Testigo", "Neurosis Positiva", "Escape", "94-1", "Promesa Perdida", "Anticoncepcion" and "Mythos", were the songs included in this work, again with lyrics in spanish, running along for 3720 microseconds, new horizons were showing maturity reached by Cenobita, stamping their own style, through electro aggression. Slow atmospheres, post-industrial landscapes, danceable sequences and some 150 b.p.m explotions. Electro-cyberpunk at it's best. Again great reviews were achieved worldwide. The edition of 1000 copies were sold out, practically unavailable today. :: Neo Milenio 1999 During 1997 and 1998, Cenobita dedicated time to play live shows, even though some problems were met because of the lack of venues, promoters and events. Music activity was interrupted briefly, and towards the end of 1998, Cenobita started to work on the next production, and by the first quarter of 1999, recording process started for the first album. "Neo Milenio", conceived during the previous years, from terminal ideas of a dying millenium, to that new monster opening in front of us. The first production in CD format was in released in Mexico and the USA, in October 1999 thorough Mexico?s independent label "Opcion Sonica". The album included 11 songs in english and spanish: "Prisionero", "Dependency", "Earth", "Cairo", "Cristo 2000", "Insurrection", "Intolerar", "Confessions", "Mensaje", "Scabious Snout" and "Gente" The songs were radical different to previous work, since the guitar has been dropped, letting distortion survive through the synthesis itself. The big release party was planned for October 23, 1999, a concert along mentors Einstürzende Neubauten was given in Mexico City. :: U.S.A. Invasion During the year 2000, a series of concerts were done in Mexico City, and some other places in the country side, promoting the first album, Neo Milenio. Towards the end of the year, Cenobita was invited as headliners in Pandemonium, a festival to be held in Los Angeles, CA, USA, at famous club JC Fandango, storming the almost 1000 heads crowd. Later on the same year, Dystopian Records, invited Cenobita to the "Dystopian Views Compilation" release party in San Francisco, CA. USA, making a special guest appearance along with Flesh Field, Negative Format and God Module. The show was a complete great finale for the year. A significant evolution started in the year 2001, the first new song (Destino Final) was played live, receiving great acceptance, and was included on a Cryonica Records/Side Line compilation: Cryonica Tanz v1.0., just briefly after that, Omar Flo leaves the band because of lack of commitment and personal issues. His depatrure, expected by many people, gives Cenobita a refreshing, new and bigger change over. Claus Bita, remains as a one man project, now in charge of the voice too. The music remained unaltered, cause it was totally done, since the beginning, by him and the lyrics more than 50 percent were Bita's own inspiration. This fullfilling state of creative liberty, thrusted the music towards new horizons, new songs were starting to take form specially conceived for Claus' powerful vocal style. Earshot is an American nu metal/alternative metal band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 1999. The band has released four albums: Letting Go, Two, The Silver Lining, Humaning and a 5 song Mini-LP entitled "Aftermath". Looking beyond the status quo of the modern rock music of today, EARSHOT’s third studio album, slated for release August 2008, marks the start of what some believe is sure to be the beginning of a new and changing modern rock world of tomorrow. No doubt, that in the 48 minutes of listening to the bevy of infectiously memorable tracks, one can only describe this 11 song collection as a very cleverly crafted, re-defined and re-designed approach to their genre with a plethora of sonically raw and defining moments. EARSHOT signed with Warner Brother’s Records in 2001 and in 2002 released their debut album “Letting Go” which yielded their first anthemic singles such as “Get Away” (which peaked at #4 on the charts and stayed in the top 100 for over 60 weeks), and “Not Afraid”. TX2 is an emo/alt-rock band started by Evan Thomas, from Fort Collins, Colorado. In 2023, a clip of their song I Would Hate Me Too went viral, which got the attention of record label Hopeless Records. TX2 signed to Hopeless in July of 2023 and has released over a dozen singles and 2 EPs under the label. The band has been vocal about both being part of the LGBTQ community and being allies, playing at protests and speaking about LGBTQ rights at their shows. They also use their YouTube and TikTok platforms to spread these messages, along with their beliefs on mental health and equality. TX2 has amassed almost 600k monthly listeners on Spotify, 940k followers via TikTok, and 190k followers via Instagram. No Resolve is an American rock band from Detroit formed in 2005 by lead singer Oscar Pegorraro, lead guitarist Jason Hatmaker, drummer Derek Bjornson, and bassist Dennis Patterson. Their debut EP, A New Beginning, was released in 2012 and their breakout single Get Me Out came out in 2013. Their full-length debut album Unity (2017), The Divide (2019), Shivers (2021), and Take Cover (2022) followed. The group signed their first record deal with Noise Machine Records in 2020. The band gained significant mainstream recognition for their cover songs, releasing rock versions most notably with Garth Brooks' The Thunder Rolls, and Sia's Unstoppable, which both reached #1 on Billboard's Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart.

Freeze the Fall is a Canadian hard rock band from British Columbia Lead vocalist/guitarist - Quinn, 18 Bassist/backup vocalist - Aria, 17 Drummer - Jonah, 17 They released their first single, Glitch, on February 1st, 2024. A full EP called “Thrones” was released july 2024. During 2024 they also signed with Canadian indie label 604 Records. In 2025 they released their 2nd EP "The Red Garden". In 2026 all 3 members are out of high-school and in april they will begin their first 11 show tour called "Western Canada Tour" together with Cold Fame. In 2026 their first full length album is expected to be released. They are characterized by their heavy, intricate bass presence, melodic, metaphorical, and poetic lyrics, and powerful drums. Freeze the Fall writes many of their originals about their own struggles and experiences. Examples include Daughter's of Witches, written by the female singer and bassist about misogyny and their own experiences with feminism and sexism. The band has also done covers of songs from the Foo Fighters, the Warning, Smashing Pumpkins, and even Lady Gaga. Although young, the band has shown a deep love and passion for music and an eagerness to continue on the musical journey together. They met almost by accident in middle school, and formed their band in the summer of 2022. One year later they had already written some singles, and were getting reacted to online. One year after their first local preformance in their hometown, the band released Glitch on February 1st, 2024.
