Slinger

Slinger is a small Washington County suburb whose live-music offerings are largely seasonal and event-driven. The anchor is Little Switzerland, a ski resort on Cedar Creek Road that pairs winter skiing with a regular music calendar. Remodeled and reopened in 2012 as a year-round restaurant and winter ski area, it has a full-service restaurant and bar at the base of the hill that serves as the live-music space. Its annual pond skim party closes the ski season with live music, and its Big Air for Care event pairs ski and snowboard competition with live music under the lights. Performers from the broader Wisconsin circuit appear on its events calendar across the winter and shoulder seasons. Outside of Little Switzerland, the village runs a free Wednesday-evening outdoor music series at Slinger Community Park Pavilion each summer, highlighting local talent across various genres. There is no dedicated nightly live-music bar in Slinger proper; the scene here is built around seasonal events rather than a standing club calendar.
