Hailing from the sun-drenched shores of the Gulf Coast in Texas, Bloodlines emerges as a formidable force in the realm of modern -core music. Drawing inspiration from genre titans like For Today, Impending Doom, and Convictions, this four-piece outfit delivers a sound that is relentlessly passionate. In 2021, Bloodlines unleashed their Facedown debut LP HEVEL, a record that immediately carved out a niche for the band within the metalcore scene. HEVEL was written to address seasons of life, with the band taking inspiration from the biblical book of Ecclesiastes. The album leans on classic metalcore with a distinctly progressive twist. However, for Bloodlines, their music is more than just a sonic assault. It’s a vessel for a greater purpose. The band’s mission is as clear as their sound is brutal: to spread the hope and love of Jesus Christ. This mission statement is not just a footnote but a driving force behind every riff, every lyric, and every explosive breakdown that defines their music. In 2024, Bloodlines returns with their highly anticipated sophomore album, Holiness Cries. With this new offering, the band dives deeper into their distinctive sound, exploring themes of redemption, faith, and the human struggle with unflinching honesty. Holiness Cries promises to be a testament to the band’s evolution both musically and spiritually, showcasing their growth while staying true to their core beliefs. As Bloodlines continues to carve their path through the heavy music scene, they stand as torchbearers of faith and ferocity, unapologetically proclaiming their message through every crushing riff and soaring melody. For those seeking music that speaks to the soul as much as it moves the body, Bloodlines invites you to join them on their journey where holiness cries out amidst the chaos of the modern world.
