The New Pornographers at The Sheldon

The New Pornographers are a Canadian indie rock band, formed in 1997 in Vancouver, British Columbia. Presented as a musical collective and supergroup of singer-songwriters and musicians from multiple projects, the band currently consists of Carl Newman, Neko Case (vocals), John Collins (bass), Todd Fancey (guitar), and Kathryn Calder.

The Bug Club are an alternative rock band from Caldicot, Monmouthshire. Formed in 2016, they played gigs for 2 years before their first release in 2018. Since their debut release in 2021, they have released 4 EPs, a studio album and a live album. The band are made up of Sam Willmett on guitar and vocals, Tilly Harris on bass, and vocals and Dan Matthew on drums. Things went pair-shaped with Sam and Tilly in 2024 after Dan swapped his sticks for his gardening tools and a quiet life in the countryside. During a trip to America they caught the eye of Sub Pop.
