Mableton
Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre is metro Atlanta's only midsize outdoor concert venue with covered, reserved seats. The publicly owned facility in south Cobb County holds up to 2,500 people and also offers table seating and a general admission lawn, with patrons allowed to bring their own picnics. The venue books R&B, jazz, and soul through Live Nation, and recent bookings reflect that lean heavily, with artists such as Lalah Hathaway, Robert Glasper, Kenyon Dixon, Jeffrey Osborne, and Regina Belle. The calendar also takes in classic hip-hop, jazz instrumentalists like Brian Culbertson, and reggae acts. The amphitheatre sits on the grounds of the historic Mable House, a restored antebellum home that also functions as a community arts center. Outside of ticketed concerts, the complex hosts lawn concerts, a weekly farmers market, art exhibits, and Food Truck Thursdays with live music.
