Kewanee
Kewanee is a small Henry County city of around 12,500 people with a modest live-music presence. The Stables, located at 2350 US Hwy 34, is primarily a wedding and event venue that occasionally opens its doors for ticketed public music events. One such show, a Felix and Fingers dueling piano night, sold out and drew the city's mayor. The venue closes November through March. For a city this size, live music tends to surface at bars, community events, and the annual Hog Days festival rather than through a fixed roster of dedicated music clubs.
