Sheffield
Sheffield is a small Bureau County village of about 820 people, and Psycho Silo Saloon, on US Highway 6, is its live-music anchor. The saloon runs seasonally, typically May through October, and is open on weekends only. The building incorporates old parts and trucks, and its multiple levels of decks and bars make room for live bands and a crowd that runs from bikers to muscle car enthusiasts to country folk. The parking lot regularly fills with motorcycles. Bands covering '60s and '70s rock are a staple, and tribute acts have performed here as well.
