Bonnie Raitt at Ravinia

Bonnie Lynn Raitt is an American singer and songwriter. In 1971, Raitt released her self-titled debut album. Following this, she released a series of critically acclaimed roots-influenced albums that incorporated elements of rock, blues, country, and folk. She was also a frequent session player and collaborator with other artists, including Warren Zevon, Little Feat, Jackson Browne, the Pointer Sisters, John Prine, and Leon Russell.

Jon Cleary is Originally from Great Britain but he has moved to the US. He is currently living near New Orleans, and he has for quite a while been carrying the traditions of New Orleans Funk into the new millenium. Cleary builds on the traditions of such people as Dr. John and Professor Longhair. He plays a really mean piano with elements of polyrhythmic and a really funky groove. On several occasions Mr. Cleary has been playing the keyboards for Bonny Raitt while on tour, but he is also touring the world with his band - The Absolute Monster Gentlemen (AMG).
