A master of unorthodox lyricism with a visual sense to match, rising rapper Anthony Willis–also known as My Favorite Color–paints with his own palette. The Los Angeles-via-Pittsburgh artist rarely revisits the same style twice, switching from soulful self-reflection to hard-edged smack talk along with his mood. The rapper turned heads in 2020 with his debut album Velma, a revealing and relatable album--listening feels like catching up with an old friend about his life.
