Drews River Saloon (also known as Drew's on the River) has sat on the banks of the Ohio River along Route 50 at Anderson Ferry since it opened in spring 2004. The bar runs a large patio with a Tiki bar and books live music on weekends, with a solo guitarist or singer on the patio Saturday and Sunday afternoons when weather allows. Local bands are the draw on Saturday nights, with country music a recurring genre. Tuesday nights are given over to karaoke. The covered patio puts patrons right on the riverbank, with the historic Anderson Ferry running back and forth across the Ohio as a backdrop. As the only dedicated music venue in the Riverside neighborhood, Drew's functions as the area's sole regular live-music anchor, keeping things casual and locally rooted rather than pulling touring acts.
