Canton's live-music scene spans a wide range of scales. The Canton Memorial Civic Center has been Canton's home for sports, music, and entertainment since 1951. The arena seats up to 5,200 and books across a wide range of genres, having welcomed artists such as Dwight Yoakam, The Mavericks, Cole Swindell, Priscilla Block, and CeCe Winans. On the smaller end, The Auricle, established in 2011, was created as a venue to bring entertainment to downtown Canton and sits in the heart of Canton's arts district. Located in a historic building, it holds up to 300 guests and mixes live music with dance nights, karaoke, stand-up comedy, and game nights. Most shows at The Auricle take place Thursday through Saturday nights.
