Mayfield's live-music identity is largely shaped by The Grove, a public outdoor amphitheater run by Mayfield Village's recreation department. It is an outdoor venue in Mayfield Village offering a variety of free performances throughout the year. The Grove hosts a free summer concert series and has become a popular spot for local and national talent, drawing around 2,000 people per show. Concerts run Friday evenings from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. The lineup leans heavily on tribute acts and cover bands: past bookings have included an Eagles tribute band and a 1980s-inspired New Wave Nation Band, along with an arena-rock act covering Bon Jovi, Journey, and Def Leppard. Visitors enjoy free outdoor concerts, food trucks, and a family-friendly atmosphere. Reviewers call it a "great little venue" where guests bring a chair and blanket and pull up some grass, with a decent sound system for its size. Outside of summer, the Grove's schedule thins considerably, and Mayfield itself has no other dedicated music venues.
