Redhawk Grille has been serving the Painesville community since 1993 and is the city's main indoor live-music spot. Beyond its food and drink, the venue runs a Thursday open mic night and books local bands on Fridays and Saturdays. It has also hosted events like the Rescue Rock Off. The venue features a large outdoor patio, a wood-burning fireplace, bocce, cornhole, and two full-service bars. The patio hosts live music during warmer months. Painesville's live-music picture extends well beyond Redhawk. The city's Party in the Park is billed as Ohio's largest free music festival, featuring over 25 acts including local talent, Cleveland-area musicians, and national touring artists. The city also runs a "Concerts at the River" series. A Grand Amphitheater hosts a summer concert series with acts ranging from reggae to country.
