Canal Winchester
Canal Winchester sits about 15 miles from Columbus and punches above its small-town size for live music. The city runs Music in the Park, a free summer concert series at Stradley Park in the historic downtown, held on the third Friday of May through September. The annual Blues & Ribfest brings a two-day street celebration of live blues music to downtown each summer. For dedicated venues, Sweet Harmony Canal operates out of a former warehouse in the heart of the historic district, combining a bar, music venue, and curated vintage shop. It features a massive stage, a full bar, lounge seating, games, pizza, and vintage furniture you can buy on your way out. Sweet Harmony books a wide range of genres, having previously hosted acts like Dire Wolf, Ruvane, and The Devil Doves. The venue opened in 2024. BrewDog DogTap Columbus is BrewDog's flagship U.S. brewery, with dozens of taps, a full kitchen, brewery tours, outdoor patios, and a dog-friendly atmosphere. Live entertainment is part of its programming, making it a lively spot to pair craft beer with music on select dates.
