Thornville

Legend Valley is a 230-acre live music venue and campground that has hosted concerts, music festivals, and athletic events since the 1970s. Formerly known as Buckeye Lake Music Center, the outdoor amphitheater spans 230 acres and holds an estimated capacity of 55,000. Thornville's live-music identity runs almost entirely through Legend Valley. The venue draws genre-spanning festival crowds: since 2017, it has been the home of the annual Lost Lands dubstep and bass music festival, and the Everwild festival brings reggae acts and camping to the site each summer. The Werk Out Music and Arts Festival, a jam-and-funk-leaning event, also takes place at Legend Valley, with past performers including Greensky Bluegrass, Big Gigantic, Joe Russo's Almost Dead, and Pigeons Playing Ping Pong. Located just a short drive from Columbus, Legend Valley draws both local and out-of-town visitors. Outside of festival season, the venue books individual touring acts as well. For visitors to Thornville, Legend Valley is the scene.
