West Bloomfield Township
A city in the Detroit area
Knock Twice Speakeasy is West Bloomfield Township's prohibition-era-inspired small-plate lounge, and the area's most distinctive spot for indoor live music. Owner Kiera Henderson, drawing on restaurant nightlife experiences abroad, co-founded the concept with India Irving to bring that kind of evening out to metro Detroit. The room sits on Farmington Road and requires a password for entry. Live music runs on Friday and Saturday evenings. The interior features a custom five-tier chandelier, velvet furnishings, and outdoor fire pits, and the venue also hosts poetry readings alongside its music nights. The concept is adults-only and aims for a chic, intimate feel. Beyond the speakeasy, Marshbank Park runs a free summer concert series on its outdoor concert hill, pairing live acts with local food trucks. The 2026 lineup includes a Journey tribute band, rock and country, pop rock, and a Top 40 soul act.
