Stingers opened in January 2007 and is Wixom's main dedicated live-music bar. The bar sits on Grand River Ave and runs a motorcycle-themed atmosphere with live music and karaoke nights. Biker-owned and biker-friendly, it books live entertainment seven nights a week alongside pool, Keno, and ten flat-screen TVs. Weekend nights typically feature bands, while Wednesdays are karaoke. Acoustic acts also appear, with at least one TikTok-documented country music set on record. Beyond Stingers, Wixom's live music leans outdoor and seasonal: Wixom Parks and Recreation hosts free summer concerts at Sibley Park on Thursday evenings, and the annual Downtown Block Party each September closes the summer with a live music headline set.
