Wyandotte sits about 11 miles south of Detroit on the Detroit River, in the cluster of communities known as Downriver. Downtown has a base of long-standing, family-owned restaurants, and newer cocktail-forward spots have joined them on the main drag, Biddle Avenue. The biggest live-music draw is District 142. A century-old, 15,000-square-foot building was converted into a multi-use space booking national rock and country artists alongside regional and local bands. Live Nation is a booking partner, with a ticketed capacity of around 700. Concertgoers can choose the main floor or an upper mezzanine with tables and a private bar; the stage measures 20 by 24 feet. Its 2026-2027 calendar includes acts like Texas Hippie Coalition and Graham Barham. Luna Bar & Bistro plays a quieter role. The American bistro pairs live music with cocktail flights, steaks, and small plates. Reviewers have noted live music from a piano player and singer. Wyandotte Beer Co. rounds out the city's live-music options as a third venue downtown.
