Fennville
Fennville is a small town of fewer than 1,900 residents about ten minutes from Lake Michigan, noted for a sophisticated food and wine culture that draws visitors from across West Michigan. Its live-music activity is tied closely to that agricultural and winery identity, and nearly all of it happens outdoors in warm weather. Fenn Valley Vineyards runs live music every Thursday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. across an extended season from late May through mid-October. Acts have included Americana, jazz, blues, soul, and classic rock acts. The winery's annual Wine Festival on its 240-acre property also includes live music alongside food trucks and vineyard tastings. Each September, Crane's Pie Pantry hosts Cider Fest, where guests gather at the Walnut Grove Pavilion for fresh cider, live music, and food. The venue also offers free live music on seasonal weekends throughout the year. The city itself runs a free City Music Hall Series on Thursday evenings in July and August, drawing performers to Fennville's outdoor stage.
