Park Theatre, at 248 S. River Ave. in downtown Holland, is the city's primary dedicated live-music room, and it operates as a nonprofit. The building ran as a single-screen movie theater for over 60 years before converting to its current multi-use format. The space pairs vintage character with modern production, keeping sound tight and the stage close. The venue books a wide range of genres, with past acts including Larry Keel, Ghost-Note, and tribute projects like Jukebox Heroes: International Tribute to Foreigner. Michigan punk, alternative rock, and indie bands appear regularly, and the calendar has also drawn hard rock and heavy metal nights. Beyond music, the schedule takes in tribute acts, podcast tapings, local theater, and film nights; most concerts run general admission, with seated layouts for select events.
