Mosinee

Lamplight Sessions, at 224 Main St., books nationally touring singer-songwriter musicians, many passing through on their way to a larger city or festival. The room holds about 75, and owner Logan Erickson targets bands in the early stages of national touring, giving them a paying stop between Midwest dates. The building was originally a pharmacy; its original tin ceilings have been restored, and salvaged maple hardwood floors and local terrazzo were added during the renovation. Past acts have included Grammy-nominated East Tennessee bluegrass outfit the Po' Ramblin' Boys and Los Angeles indie rock band The Yawpers. The venue holds a malt beverage license rather than a spirits license, so the bar leans on local and craft beer, alcoholic seltzers, and non-alcoholic options.
