The Southside's live-music footprint is modest, with The Thompson House on East Thompson Road serving as the area's main spot. Formerly known as Lizard's, it runs a sports-bar atmosphere with a focus on live music, booking both cover and original acts. The 21-plus bar holds around 150 people and hosts live music on Saturday nights, a couple of times each month.
