In 2001, Bonham opened for B. B. King in two shows in Northern Indiana, and has played twice with Bo Diddley. He also plays almost every year at the Blues Cruise-In, a car show in Clermont, IN that donates all of its proceeds to cancer research at Riley's Children's Hospital.
