Argentine
Argentine is a working-class KCK neighborhood known for its strong Hispanic community, and its live-music options are limited. The one dedicated music venue here is the Boathouse Bar and Brewery, a newly renovated bar attached to the long-running Woodyard Bar-B-Que on Merriam Lane that pours its own house Woodyard beer and offers sit-down bar service in the evenings. The Boathouse has hosted live music alongside events tied to the Woodyard operation. Beyond the bar, Argentine's annual Silver City Day Parade and Festival, running for over 75 years, brings live music into the neighborhood outdoors. For a fuller live-music night, most residents look beyond Argentine's borders.
