One player is the demon, secretly trying to kill off townsfolk, while others are villagers trying to find and execute the demon before it's too late. The game is moderated by a storyteller who guides the action and manages special powers and abilities that each role might have. It's like Werewolf or Mafia, but with more complex roles, no player elimination until the end, and lots of bluffing and strategy.
