Ole Smoky Distillery "The Holler" is Gatlinburg's anchor for daytime and evening live music. Every day of the year, excepting Christmas, The Holler hosts live bluegrass bands on stage while open to visitors, from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. When you walk up to The Holler on the Gatlinburg Parkway, you hear the music before you see the entrance, as musicians play on the covered front porch and the sound of banjos and fiddles carries down the sidewalk. Admission and live music are free. The distillery also schedules special bluegrass shows over spring and summer, on top of the regular daily performances. Inside, visitors can see authentic working moonshine stills and take in the distilling process, then treat themselves to a moonshine tasting while the music plays.
