Cedarburg
Cedar Creek Park is the heart of Cedarburg's live-music life, bringing music, local food, and community together every Friday night all summer long. The series is called Summer Sounds. The 10-week, free concert series runs every Friday from mid-June through late August. Summer Sounds is produced by Cedarburg Music Festivals, Ltd., an all-volunteer, non-profit group dedicated to bringing free entertainment to the Cedarburg community. The lineup draws nationally and internationally recognized performers, and genres range across rock, pop, country, indie, blues, and reggae. Past acts at the park have included Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band and Brothers Osborne. The park sits along Cedar Creek near historic Washington Avenue and features a bandshell; it also serves as the centerpiece during the Cedarburg Strawberry Festival and Wine and Harvest Festival. Special guests open at 6:30 p.m., the main act takes the stage around 8 or 8:30 p.m., and concerts wrap by 10 p.m.
