Grand Ole Opry at Grand Ole Opry

The Grand Ole Opry is a country music concert and radio show, held between twice and five times per week, in Nashville, Tennessee. The show began as a radio barn dance on November 28, 1925, by George D. Hay and has since become one of the genre's most enduring and revered stages. Each performance consists of multiple guest artists as well as Opry members, sometimes called "Opry stars". Members are selected by Opry management based on several factors including critical and commercial success, respect for the history of country music and commitment to appearing on the program. Opry members have permission to perform at any Opry show they wish. A typical Opry performance will feature seven to nine artists, including at least three members.

Mae Estes is an American country music singer and songwriter from Hope, Arkansas. She released music independently beginning in 2019 before signing with Big Machine Records in November 2023; the label was rebranded as Blue Highway Records in 2026. Estes has issued three extended plays, Before the Record (2023), Good Ol' Boys (2024) and the self-titled Mae Estes (2025), and has appeared repeatedly at the Grand Ole Opry since her debut there in 2023.

Charles Ray McCoy is an American harmonicist and multi-instrumentalist. He is best known for his harmonica solos on iconic recordings such as "Candy Man", "He Stopped Loving Her Today", "I Was Country When Country Wasn't Cool", and others. He was a member of the progressive country rock bands Area Code 615 and Barefoot Jerry. After recording with Bob Dylan in New York, McCoy is credited for unknowingly influencing Dylan to decide to come to Nashville to record the critically acclaimed 1966 album Blonde on Blonde.

Jamie Dailey and Darrin Vincent are veterans of Bluegrass music having some twenty years experience between the two of them from long tenures with Bluegrass and Country legends Doyle Lawson and Ricky Skaggs. In 2003, long time friends and colleagues, Jamie Dailey and Darrin Vincent, were asked to perform on a Koch Records recording titled "Christmas Grass Vol.2 2004. Jamie and Darrin recorded a well known Christmas song, "Beautiful Star of Bethlehem", with just a guitar and mandolin and their two voices. Their version of this song rose to number one on the Prime Cuts of Bluegrass. It was at this time that Jamie and Darrin decided that they would like to perform together more often and perhaps record again. This eventually evolved into the early planning and structuring of a new duo and band that would become Dailey and Vincent. It has been suggested that they have created a new business model for forming a Bluegrass band that new artists are sure to emulate.

Ward Davis is a singer-songwriter from Monticello, Arkansas. Davis has had songs recorded by Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Trace Adkins, Wade Hayes, Sammy Kershaw, Bucky Covington, Jimmie Van Zant, Buddy Jewel, Carolina Rain, The Roys, Cody Jinks, Whitey Morgan, Paul Cauthen and others. in 2016, Davis co-wrote "I’m Not The Devil" with Cody Jinks, which went to No. 4 on the Billboard US Country Charts. His major debut 2015 album, 15 Years in a 10 Year Town, featured Willie Nelson and Jamey Johnson. "Unfair Weather Friend," a song Davis co-wrote with Marla Cannon-Goodman, was recorded by Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard for their final album collaboration together, Django and Jimmie. At Haggard's request, the song was played at Haggard's funeral in 2016. Davis moved to Nashville in 2000 from Monticello, Arkansas, to write and perform music, but was unsatisfied with his achievements. During his time there, he joined Ray Scott's band. After the success of "Unfair Weather Friend," and disillusioned with how he felt Nashville had changed, he decided to leave Music Row and go out on his own, writing and performing himself. He befriended Cody Jinks, with whom he co-wrote "I’m Not the Devil", the title track of Jinks' 2016 album. Since then he has written and toured regularly with Jinks, including playing Red Rocks Amphitheater with Clint Black, and appearing on Conan.
