LA Young's Phyllis Hyman Tribute Brunch at City Winery Pittsburgh

City Winery Pittsburgh presents LA Young's Phyllis Hyman Tribute Brunch live on Sunday, December 20th, at 12:00 PM! If you love the music of Phyllis Hyman, prepare for an unforgettable evening celebrating her timeless songbook. L.A. Young brings Hyman’s music to life with a rare contralto voice that captures the low, rich, dark-toned quality that made Hyman’s sound so distinctive. Rather than an impersonation, Young delivers the songs in the vocal range they were written for, backed by her working band, Soul Society™. Every arrangement is performed live, with nothing on tape.
