Downtown Bettendorf
Downtown Bettendorf sits along the Mississippi and draws live music into both its bars and its public spaces. The Waterfront Convention Center and Harley Corin's are two spots known for putting on live music across genres. Harley Corin's, formerly The Muddy Waters, is a 21-plus bar and music venue at 1708 State Street with a capacity of around 150, hosting bands on Friday and Saturday nights. The room leans toward rock, with cover acts celebrating arena-rock acts appearing regularly alongside original local bands. The Bill Bowe Bandshell at Veterans Memorial Park, 1645 23rd St., anchors an outdoor summer concert series put on by the Bettendorf Park Band. The Bettendorf Park Band is an all-volunteer concert band established in 1967. Concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. and are accompanied by an ice cream social. The Downtown Bettendorf Organization also stages its annual Be Downtown event, which brings an evening of live music to multiple locations throughout the neighborhood.
