Highway 20 Brewing Company is a three-barrel craft brewery in a restored 1875 church in Elizabeth, with twelve rotating taps poured fresh each week, a dog-friendly taproom, and visiting food trucks. Live music most weekends draws a rotating lineup of local musicians, past performers have included Soulbone Shakers, an Americana band, and Kara Gordon at Highway 20's Oktoberfest, as well as L.A. Drive performing acoustic sets at the brewery. Weekend afternoon shows draw a mix of locals and out-of-town visitors who enjoy the outdoor patio setting. The brewery sits on Historic US Highway 20 between Chicago and Galena, and is open Wednesday through Sunday.
