Goshen
The Goshen Theater is a renovated historic 600-seat auditorium and ballroom, originally built in 1907 and located in downtown's Arts District, hosting live music alongside theater, dance, and film. The venue runs a monthly "Martinis and Music" series, produced in partnership with WVPE, on the second Thursday of each month. Ignition Music Garage is a staple of Goshen's downtown scene: a music store, radio broadcast center, and concert venue operating out of a converted mechanic's garage. It holds up to 225 standing or 150 seated. A remote studio for Goshen College's station 91.1 The Globe operates inside. The shop buys and sells new and used vinyl, CDs, cassettes, and collectibles, with live music woven into the space. Ignition runs a general concert series and a hard rock series for local bands, filling a gap as one of the few spots in the area where harder acts can perform.
